Congratulations to our Good Dog Graduate, Molly! 🎓

Molly is a sweet yellow Lab that was soooo excited about everything in life. The teenage phase is in full swing. Her family wanted to work on her impulse control and help her listen better.

Molly and her family joined us for our Private Lesson Program. We focused on recall, walking, public socialization, and house manners. She was so eager to please!

Molly wants nothing more than to be a good girl. She worked so hard and was socialized to all kinds of distractions. Her family put in a ton of very good work. We are so proud of them!

Molly has been working toward her Canine Good Citizen. She has come a long way! She is also headed out for hunting training for more fun with dad! Her family enjoys her so much. We are so excited for them to enjoy their summer together!

A couple of weeks ago, we had several client teams take and pass their Canine Good Citizen test, and we couldn’t be more proud of the work they put in to get there! 🎉🐾

The AKC Canine Good Citizen program is designed to evaluate practical manners and real-world obedience skills that help dogs become well-behaved companions both at home and out in public. Dogs are tested on things like polite leash walking, appropriate greetings, staying calm around distractions, coming when called, and handling everyday situations with confidence and control.

At Crystal Clear Canine Academy, CGC is one of the goals we love building toward throughout our training programs. Many of the skills required for the test are intentionally woven into our classes and curriculum because we believe training should create dogs that can successfully navigate real life, not just perform commands in a quiet room.

Watching these teams grow in their communication, consistency, and confidence together has been incredibly rewarding. The test itself may only take a short time, but it represents months of work, patience, and commitment behind the scenes.

Congratulations again to all of our handlers and dogs who earned their CGC title on April 30th. We’re proud of every single one of you. 💛
