🎉🐾 Huge Congratulations to Jen & Otis! 🐾🎉
We are so proud to celebrate Jen and her dog, Otis, who just passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam! This accomplishment is a true reflection of Jen’s dedication, teamwork, and training to help Otis become a well-mannered companion. 👏🐶
For those who aren’t familiar, the Canine Good Citizen test is a 10-part evaluation created by the American Kennel Club. It’s designed to assess a dog’s temperament and their ability to be a polite, well-mannered member of society. From walking nicely on leash to greeting strangers politely, it’s all about demonstrating good manners in everyday life.
Not only is the CGC a fantastic training goal, but it’s also a great first step toward therapy dog certification for those dreaming of doing therapy work with their pups. 🐕❤️
