The work is done, the horses are ready, and we’re Oklahoma City bound!
A little look at the last couple of weeks getting ready for the 2026 AQHA World Show with our amateur and select ladies!
Lots of hard work, plenty of laughs, and a great group of horses and riders. We’re excited to see it all come together in OKC!
Good luck and safe travels to everyone competing! 💙

✨Big Cattitude, “Jax.” ✨
This two-year-old c**t by Metallic Cattack, owned by Jenny Loveland, is coming along great!

A couple of new faces around K Bar W. 👀
Congratulations to Bentley Johnson and the Johnson family on the purchase of Ursayintheresachance, “Max.” After searching for the right fit for B, we’re excited to see these two get started together in the reining and ranch events.
And congratulations to Melissa Brown on the purchase of CS Nifty Sailor, “Pablo.” We’re excited to see Melissa back in the reining pen with this talented gelding and to add the ranch events to his program as well.
A big thank you to Steve Ross Reining & Performance Horses for his help putting these two matches together. We appreciate the Johnson family and Melissa continuing to trust in our program and are looking forward to a fun season with Max and Pablo!

One more from the NSBA World Show before these two head back to the show pen. 🏆
We finally got our hands on Jenny Loveland and Ciphered Code aka Dusty’s win photo from Tulsa, and this one was worth the wait.
Jenny and Dusty came home NSBA World Champions in Amateur 50 & Over Ranch Riding and Bronze World Champions in Amateur 50 & Over Ranch Trail, while Kendall and Dusty added Top 5 finishes of their own.
A pretty special week for Dusty and everyone behind him. Now we’re looking forward to having him back in the pen with both Jenny and Kendall at the Arizona Fall Championship.
Congratulations, Jenny!
