Monte Vista Pet Lodge just opened in April 2014 for state of the art pet care and boarding. Not only do we welcome your furry children of any size, we also specialize in behavioral and medical special need boarding. Our well animal boarding is $40.00/night to include, two meals a day, water at all times, raised bedding, playtime every 60-90 minutes in outdoor play yard (pool time included with lif

eguard on duty at all times!), over night supervision, as needed housekeeping, periodic message, cuddle time and love throughout their stay. Our "special need" boarding price is $50.00/night to include all of the mentioned above as well as any medication administration or personal care as needed for behavioral or health maintenance. Our Doggie Day Care is open seven days a week with no reservation required (although 24 hour notice is appreciated) 7am-6pm. Prices start at $18.00 for half day (0-5 hours) and $22.00 for full day
(5-10 hours).

We commemorate this day, remembering those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and acknowledge the courageous individuals who responded to the crisis. Over 300 working dogs were among those who served with unwavering dedication at Ground Zero, assisting their handlers.

These highly trained canines, skilled in search and rescue, cadaver detection, police operations, and animal assisted therapy, diligently worked amidst the still smoldering wreckage.

Despite the physically and emotionally taxing nature of their work, these dogs persevered, sustained by the care of their handlers and veterinary professionals. Additionally, therapy dogs offered crucial comfort to first responders during this tragic time.

As we reflect on this solemn occasion, we honor the bravery, loyalty, and invaluable service of these four-legged heroes, as well as the enduring bond they shared with their handlers. 🐾
