Our Dogs & Cats are available for adoption at Petco located in Kinnelon, NJ every Sat. & Sun. Our cats are available for adoption at Petsmart located by the West Belt Mall in Wayne, NJ every Friday night 6pm-9pm and Saturday from 11am-4pm. 🎉🎉 Gone Home! 🎉🎉

As summer winds down we want to congratulate the 10 dogs that have gone home in the last 8 weeks.

Beatrice, Binks, Elvis, Max, Maya, Millie, Pippen, River, Shelly and Tongo!

We are so happy for them and their new families!
Happy Tails little ones and thank you for coming to BASS to find your new family members!

We still have 22 dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments looking to find their furever homes, so come down to the shelter any day, including weekends and holidays from 9-10:30am or 3-5pm to find your new best friend!

🔵🔷 Rocky and Pippen 🔷🔵

Allow me to introduce best buds Rocky and Pippen!

Rocky and Pippen came to us from the same rescue in Kentucky and we initially thought they were brothers, they look so much alike and get along so well, but when we looked at their intake, we saw that they came to the rescue separately and are listed at a month difference.

Rocky is listed as a Lab mix, tan with a little white on his chest and paws, 9 months as of August.

Pippen is listed as a Terrier mix, all tan with those adorable ears that loop up and 8 months as of August.

They are both handsome, friendly, outgoing, playful, loving, and keep their crates clean!
They play so well together and are truly best friends, but they are not bonded and do not need to go home together.

If you look at our website, BASSshelterpets.org the pictures are confusing for both boys... how they are shown here is correct. We have tried fixing a few times and seems to be correct on Petfinder, but for some reason doesn't change on our page. Ah... modern technology!

A huge huge shoutout to Kim and her staff at Garden State Barkway!!!!
Not only were they kind enough to give our boy Max a complimentary grooming... but after meeting Max, Kim realized she knew the perfect family for him and she was right!
Max went home to his new family, will have 2 other adorable dogs to keep him company and will be living right here in Erskine Lakes!

Looking for a black lab?... you couldn't find better than these 2!
Meet the absolutely adorable brother and sister team of River and Tippy!
River, male and Tippy, female with white paws, are 6 months old (as of Aug 1) Black lab mixes.

They are not bonded and do not need to go home together.

These two are super friendly, playful, get along with other dogs, smart, everything you could ask for in a lab puppy.
And did I mention adorable? Just look at those faces!

Binks is a young male Corgi mix weighing around 26 pounds.

Binks is super friendly, outgoing, well-behaved and housebroken!
And as you can see by the pics, he is a boy of many expressions, and those ears, he really is a beautiful boy who just wants to be loved.

Meet Luis and Leo, a dynamic duo who are sure to bring joy and laughter into your life!

Luis and Leo are a bonded pair of Chihuahua / Dachshund mixes.
(Must go home together)
They are both males, 2 years old and weigh between 14-16 pounds each.
Luis is the black one with tan and white markings and Leo the tan one... for little guys they have the biggest smiles!

Luis and Leo are loving, affectionate, loyal, love being by your side, and will give plenty of kisses!

They come with their own beds, dishes and toys.
Not sure of their backstory, but they were definitely well loved!

Meet the gorgeous 6 months old pup Millie!!!
Millie is a female Terrier mix weighing 15 pounds as of July 1st.
