Last weekend we traveled many miles and delivered "Jeanette." She is now "Ellie." Don and I had a special experience witnessing "Ellie" sweetly settle into her new mom and dad's arms. There were tears of joy as we just knew- like all of our puppies- that they were matched perfectly with their new member of their family by the Hand of God. I have received the sweetest updates this week. So very grateful for all of these experiences we have been able to have!

Today would have been Daisy's 11th Birthday. Oh, we sure miss this girl! To those who don't know, she passed away due to high black mold toxicity 7 years ago this month. It was misdiagnosed as pyometra and when they did an emergency hysterectomy, they discovered her uterus was fine. We were all sick from the black mold (had to move and lost about everything we owned), but it really affected her, got into her lung, and she couldn't recover. She was the original mama of our program... And was one of THE BEST goldendoodles ever!! All of our goldendoodles got her amazing, calm temperament. Happy birthday, Daisy!! 🩷🐾🎂🎈💗

A few weeks ago, the family who adopted “Simon” (now Pippin) over Easter weekend reached out to us. 🐾 They were absolutely in love with him — and so impressed by how smart he is — that they asked if they could add another pup from this litter to their family. 🥰

So, on a Friday evening, we visited their home 20 min away with two puppies they were considering. Their backyard was a total dog dream, and we got to spend time with their sweet kids, too. 💛

They decided to try out life with Theodore for the weekend… and by Monday, we got the message: “We love him and want to keep him!” They have named him "Pua." 🎉

One of the hardest parts about wrapping up this chapter of raising doodles is saying goodbye — but what we’ll miss most is meeting so many amazing families across the nation (even if it is just 20 minutes away!).

So grateful to have met this dear family... You'll have a blessed life, Pippin and Pua!!! 🐶🩵🐾🩵

Brittany got to go home with her mom today. She will live in Idaho Falls!! Brittany was super excited to see her, again, and gave her lots of loves. Her new name will be "Nixie," and she will be one spoiled puppy!!

Our sweet mama, Piper, is getting spayed today. It was her final litter, but this really makes it real that this 11-year chapter of raising doodles is really ending, as we don't have another mama to take her place. I may have had tears dropping her off this morning at the vet. 🥹🐾🩷
