Having Dusty and baby home while baby recovers has been good for halter breaking. She is coming along nicely.

Some days mean a little more than others.

Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to build a program that produces quality horses. Horses with a solid foundation that people can trust.

This weekend, Spooky Blaze became the first horse to carry my brand.

She's been with me through just about everything. There were times I wasn't sure I'd be able to keep her, but by the grace of God and some really good people, she's still here. It only felt right that she'd be the first.

This brand isn't just a mark on a horse. To me, it represents the standard I want every horse that leaves my program to carry.

Thank you to everyone who's helped me get this far. This is just the beginning.

P.S. If you make it to the last picture... yes, that's my backside. 😂 I finally tried cyro therapy after hearing how much it helps horses. Three sessions later, my back feels better than it has in a long time. Thanks to Simmons for taking care of me (cryotherapy)
And Rae Ann Denny for helping brand the horses.

Eli came to us from HAPI Trails, Inc . He is definitely more sensitive than some of the other horses that we've worked with. But he has come a long way.
Shout out to my training assistant, Brynn. She has done a lot of good work with him. This is her riding him in the water, in preparation for his upcoming adoption!

There are many things to do to have a well desensitized horse.

Ever feel confident during a lesson... then get home and wonder, "Now what?"

You're not alone.

One of my biggest goals as a trainer isn't just helping you while you're standing in the arena with me.

It's helping you feel confident when you're working with your horse on your own.

As Buck Brannaman said,
"Fear has to do with helplessness. The only thing that conquers it is knowledge."

Our lessons are designed to build confidence one step at a time.

• Learn the skill together.
• Practice at home.
• Come back with questions.
• Build on your success.

And if you aren't ready to practice on your own yet—that's okay.

We'll keep working together until both you and your horse feel safe, confident, and ready for the next step.

Good horsemanship isn't about rushing.

It's about building a foundation that lasts.

If you're feeling stuck with your horse, send me a message. I'd love to help.
