Have the dog you always wanted and have fun while you do it. Training classes include basic training, specific problems, AKC puppy star, AKC canine good citizen training and testing. I also teach classes with child trainers, so bring the whole family. Visitation Fees:
Small dogs $20 per day
Medium dogs $25 per day
Large dogs $28 per day

JOB SUMMARY
Compensation for this position is starting at the minimum of the salary range. An Animal Control Officer is responsible for enforcing animal control laws and ordinances, ensuring the humane treatment of animals, and promoting public safety. This role involves responding to reports of stray, dangerous, or abused animals, capturing and transporting animals to shelters, and conducting investigations into cases of animal cruelty or neglect. The officer also engages in public education efforts to promote responsible pet ownership and compliance with local regulations. Officers will possess strong knowledge of animal behavior, legal standards, and emergency response protocols, as well as excellent communication, investigative, and problem-solving skills. The position requires physical stamina, empathy, and the ability to handle emotionally challenging situations.

Congratulations to DCTC Welding program’s Miranda Crist who this past weekend walked away with around $1000 worth of prizes through her 2nd place finish in the annual American Welding Society (AWS) Student Chapter contest. Hosted by DCTC, each of the competing schools entered three contestants from their welding programs, with DCTC being represented by Miranda, Matthew Corkran, and Logan Dukes.

Miranda, a Senior graduating from NDHS a year early, has been accepted by Hobart Institute of Welding in Troy, Ohio, and plans to join the Navy to pursue a career in welding.

Thank you to these organizations who supported the competition: Keen Compressed Gases, Matheson Compressed Gases, B and E Fabrication, C and K Lord, Patriot Steel, General Refrigeration Co., ESAB, Ramco Solutions, Wor Wic Tech, Chesapeake College, Sussex Technical High School, and the American Welding Society. Mr. Chris Baker is the welding instructor at DCTC.

This is our newest project. Ace was rescued and we ate working hard on his separation anxiety and get him crate trained. He is very lucky to have Mindy and Mark Potter, yes 94.3 radio. They are devoted to him and he to them. As you guys know I never give up. We're getting there.
