Talbot Kennel Club TKC provides puppy kindergarden, obedience, rally, handling, tracking and agility classes to our members and the community.

TKC sponsors an All-Breed Conformation and Obedience/Rally Trial and two Agility Trials annually. TKC is dedicated to the advancement of all dog breeds and encourages sportsman like competition at dog shows, trials, and events.

Talbot Kennel Club's Summer Agility Trial is in the books! What a fantastic 3 days. Thank you to awesome judge Megan Shepter Garges for designing great courses and being just a wonderful person.

There was so many amazing runs and it is so awesome to have exhibitors cheer on each other and celebrate the Qs and NQs. Well done!

Congratulations to Stacie Stolba and Wabi Sabi for earning MACH14 and Megan Esherick and Spice for earning MACH15. Incredible!

On Saturday the Veterans Run was held and it was very heartwarming to see the veterans take to the course and enjoy being back in the ring again. A very special moment.

The Golden Oldies Challenge is a fun-friendly competition for handlers and their dog. Medallions were awarded for the top 3 placements in the age categories.

Trials do not happen without awesome people. On Thursday for set-up members and exhibitors stepped up and everything was unloaded from the trailer and set up within an hour! For clean up it was all hands on deck and once again awesome people stepped up and everything was loaded and the equipment trailer door was closed in record time! A BIG THANK YOU to all that helped.

Special Thank You goes to Chief Course Builders Linda Syner & Pam Johnson; Trial Secretary Sandy Moody; Volunteer Coordinator Denise Jester; and Photo Op and NQ Raffle Coordinator Robin Valliant.

To everyone that volunteered at the trial - THANK YOU! Trials cannot happen without all the exhibitors helping out.

Talbot Kennel Club congratulates the winners of the 2026 Golden Oldies Agility Competition. Teams (a dog and handler) compete in age categories of the handler in several classes during Friday and Saturday of the trial.

Back By Popular Demand - The GOLDEN OLDIES Challenge! Lace up those running shoes and run for the podium.

The Golden Oldies Challenge will be part of the TKC May 29 -30, 2026 agility trial at Crown Sports Center in Fruitland, MD. Judge is Megan Shepter.

Senior Olympic Style - Handlers Running for Fun!
AGE BRACKETS:
50 – 59 Years Old
60 – 69 Years Old
70+ Years Old
*Competition is open to anyone within the age brackets*

RULES:
Team is defined as one handler and one dog.

Registration of Team must be submitted on a Registration form by May 29, 2026 – 7:30am.

A handler can run more than one dog but each dog/handler combination is considered as its own team.

Handler age is as of May 29, 2026.

Classes that count towards Challenge – Standard; Jumpers with Weaves; Premier and FAST. All levels of classes are included.

NO COST TO ENTER.

Talbot Kennel Club will be holding AKC Rally Run Thrus on Monday, July 6, 2026 (3:30pm - 5:30pm) at the TKC Training Center.
There will be two courses set (Master/Excellent) and (Novice/Advanced). Each entry will have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to complete the course (or work on specific areas). You can run the same dog for an additional session at a reduced cost.

Run Thrus are open all, so feel free to share with non-TKC members.

**NOTE** Payment is due at time of Run Thru.
