Well, this happened last night. I’m sure you remember seeing this dog posted as found with another dog running for a couple days on Smiths Xing. SHE WAS VERY PREGNANT! It took a wonderful family to take the time and secure both dogs and get them to JCAS just in time.

We arrived at JCAS this morning to her having given birth to seven little puppies in her outdoor kennel. This poor girl was failed by humans and alone in her kennel in a scary new place.No dog should have to go through what she did.

She is now safe with her puppies in an indoor quiet room and Bark Shack in Bluffton has stepped up to help out and all will be going there tomorrow. A big thank you to Bark Shack for helping this sweet mama when humans failed her.
