Every week—without fail—Nicole shows up ready to give our animals the love, time, and attention they so deeply need. Her patience and compassion make such a difference, especially for dogs like Savior.

Savior is a gentle soul who’s still learning that new people don’t have to be scary. Today, Nicole spent quiet time with him—sitting nearby and showing him that kindness can be trusted. These small, steady moments are the ones that change everything for animals like him.

The dedication of volunteers like Nicole helps frightened animals begin to heal, trust, and hope again. 💕

Diane Keaton leaves $5M in her will for dog Reggie and animal charities. 🐾🐾

😭

Yesterday, I brought home the oldest and sickest dog from our local shelter here in Oregon.
They called him “Gramps.” No one ever stopped by his cage anymore — he’d given up long ago. He just lay there, eyes tired, waiting for his last day to quietly come.
The volunteers looked at me, surprised. “Are you sure you want… him?”
I smiled through tears. “Yes. He’s the one.”
When the cage opened, the other dogs ran out barking, tails wagging. But Gramps just stayed curled in the corner — until I knelt down and whispered, “You’re coming home with me.”
He slowly lifted his head, and for the first time, I saw a spark.
When I held him, he melted into my arms — and fell asleep on my lap before we even made it to the car.
That’s when I knew: maybe I didn’t just save him… maybe he saved me, too.
Give them a chance.
Give them love.
They’ve been waiting for someone just like you. ❤️🐾.
