Wednesday through Friday from 12PM - 6PM, Saturday from 12PM - 5PM, and Sunday from 12PM - 4PM.

Happy ! Our friends at Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter have a dog you might love. ❤️ Can you help us find him a home? Meet Mattaponi! He’s a beefy, beautiful sweetheart bestie who wants a home today. 🙏 He’s been with Hanover AC since March, and is becoming increasingly kennel stressed. ♥️ Mattaponi is 4 yrs old, good with dogs and kids 10+ (he smashes littles with 88lbs of love). Funfetti Cupcake really does bring all the FUN! At the age of 1, she is a perfect companion for a human as a solo dog or with other doggie friends.. In fact, she loves other dogs almost as much as she loves zooming around💨. She came from a scary past, so she would do best in a home with kids 10+ as she can still be a bit timid sometimes. Once she is comfortable though, well.. the video explains! 😂❤️ Funfetti is a Pit/Labrador mix, weighs roughly 50lbs, is extremely treat motivated and is ready for her furever home. 🎉🎉ADOPTED! 🎉🎉Fabulous looking Buddy the Bunny is still looking for her forever home.❤️‍🔥 Buddy has been with us for over a month now with very little interest. She loves head scratches and toys! The only thing she asks for is kids 10+ in her new home. Her adoption fee is $25 and we cover the cost of spay. If you are interested, she can be visited during our open hours!

500 Miles is a sweet shepherd boy who was found as a stray. He loves other doggies that are calm and don’t mind just coexisting, and like any other shepherd he can be a little anxious and vocal! He’s just looking for someone who understands him and will show him all of the love and attention he desires.❤️

Introducing Joxer the Mighty, warrior of snuggles, conqueror of hearts, and undefeated champion of belly rubs! ⚔️🩶

This 4-year-old lovebug came to us as a stray in ruff shape – skinny, scrappy, and clearly having battled the streets solo. 🥺 But despite it all, Joxer’s heart remains HUGE. 💗 He’s sweet, social, and absolutely thrives on affection. 😍

Joxer needs:
✨ A little TLC & patience as he gains strength
🏡 A home where he’s the only doggo hero (for now)
🚪 A secure environment (this boy might have some escape artist moves up his furry sleeve)

Joxer is ready to trade his stray days for couch cuddles, yummy treats, and a forever sidekick (that’s YOU). 💕 Will you be the Gabrielle to his Joxer? 😙

On this RACC Team Tommie Tuesday we celebrate the Animal Control team at Amelia Animal Shelter - Virginia for working to help this sweet dog. The Officer who contacted RACC said, “This pup is in such horrible shape, but is still just as sweet and gentle as can be. He is in an immense amount of pain, but still gives slow tail wags and little kisses. We've moved him to a bed in our office to make him more comfortable.” Thanks to your support, our Tommie Fund covered this vet bill and we are so grateful to be able to help other shelters in need as they work to save lives.
