🐾 Meet the Trainer – Sarah Grindstaff! 🐾

Sarah began her training journey back in 2020 when she got her first dog, and what started as a personal passion quickly turned into a lifelong career. Since then, she’s worked with all kinds of dogs — from service dogs to complex behavioral cases — helping each one reach their full potential.

In 2022, Sarah discovered her love for dog sports with her second dog, and it’s now one of her biggest passions in the dog world! She currently owns a 2-year-old Border Collie named Finch, who already holds 15 titles and competes in dock diving, FastCAT, barn hunt, scent work, and more. Together, they’ve even made it to North America Diving Dogs Nationals twice!

As a balanced trainer who leans toward the force-free side, Sarah’s main goal is to help dogs build confidence and set them up for success — creating stronger, happier relationships between dogs and their humans. 💛

Feature Friday: Tsuki & Winnie

This week’s spotlight is on sister duo Tsuki and Winnie!

We first met Tsuki, the smaller but high-energy powerhouse who has no problem keeping up with the bigger dogs in play. She may be little, but she plays hard and fast, and everyone in the yard knows it.

More recently, we got to meet Winnie after she was adopted from RACC. She’s the calmer half of the pair, bringing a more laid-back vibe to balance out Tsuki’s whirlwind energy.

Together, they’re the perfect match—two very different personalities, but an inseparable pair we’re so glad to have in the ADA family.

Kiki joined us as a super loving and energetic puppy who immediately won the hearts of our staff with her snuggles and wiggles. At first, she was a bit nervous in the play yard… but don’t let that fool you. Once she got comfortable, we quickly learned something important:

Kiki is chaos — the fun kind. 😄

This girl is full of personality, thrives on structured play, and has a very specific taste in friends. She loves a good chase, a solid zoomie session, and being the center of attention (on her terms, of course). 💅
We love watching Kiki grow, learn, and continue to bring her wild, wonderful energy to the pack!

Don’t let the tiny size fool you — Maui is packed with personality and runs the show like a pro! 💥 This little Morkie might only be a few pounds, but his energy is larger than life.

Best buds with Bea (the ultimate adventure duo 🐶❤️🐶), Maui can usually be found bouncing around the play yard, chasing sunbeams, or stealing hearts. But when it rains... well, let’s just say he fully commits to the "drowned rat" aesthetic.

Feature Friday: Sally

Let’s talk about Sally—our fluffy, fabulous doodle who originally joined the calmer crew… until we realized she’s got a bit of wild child energy in her.

She quickly graduated to the more playful group where she fits right in—and keeps us laughing all day long.

Also, it must be said: before her most recent shave, Sally had some of the best doodle bu******ks we’ve ever seen. Truly iconic.

Shaved or not, she’s still a queen.
