This is what a real hero looks like.
Today we want to take a moment to publicly thank a young man named Ramir Parker. At just 12 years old, Ramir ran toward danger—not away from it—when a fire broke out in his home. He didn’t freeze. He didn’t panic. He acted.
Through thick smoke and growing flames, Ramir rushed to save his baby brothers and led his family to safety. Before first responders could even arrive, this young man had already done what many adults might struggle to do under pressure.
We throw the word “hero” around a lot these days, often for things that don’t truly deserve the title. But Ramir? He earned it. Quietly. Bravely. Instinctively.
Ramir, we see you. We honor you. And we thank you for showing the world what real courage looks like.
