The timeline for everyone to understand and hope this never happens to your pet. Oral Squamous Cell Carcinom is an aggressive cancer on his tongue. This type of cancer makes eating, drinking, and even breathing harder over time, and sadly it doesn’t have a cure. After months of vet visits, medications, and doing everything we could, it’s now time to give him peace. With the surgeries, chemotherapy, Vet visits and pain medication, this was quite costly. We were prepared for it. We used our Dog Grooming income to keep him comfortable. We had to unfortunately suspend operations in July due to his short time left and a new high in demand career. There is just not enough time to do everything.

We will be taking donations that will go towards the medical bills and end of life care that will allow him to go peacefully in our home in our arms. We ask that you give what you can, even if it’s just prayers.

Our Venmo will be under . Our goal is to reach $3,500 to help pay off the remaining medical debt. We hope to service your pets again in the near future. Thank you all for your love and support. It means so much to our family and Tyrion.

To our family, friends, & anyone Tyrion made smile along the way,

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our sweet boy Tyrion has reached the end of his palliative care. He has always been a fighter. And after his initial diagnosis with small squamous cell carcinoma the doctors gave him 2 months max. We sat down with him and asked him to make us a deal. We asked if he would just see Momma through nursing school that we would do right by him when he was ready. He was her study buddy every day. He never missed a class. He was there when she got pinned and when she walked across the stage. When she studied and passed my NCLEX. He gave us 7 more beautiful months. But he’s tired now and it’s hard not to notice as the days go by just how tired he is; not just in body, but in spirit. At our final appointment his wonderful oncologist, who truly gave her all for him, gave us the news that we always knew would come one day. After all the chemo, meds, nutrition, and hydration we’ve come to a crossroads. He is in pain and in a state he cannot recover from. Although we wish we could keep him with us forever, we can no longer allow him to live in this quality of life. It isn’t fair to him and we want only to do right by him.

We will be walking him to the rainbow bridge this coming Sunday surrounded by his family, friends, and all the love returned that he has given each of us.

“I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.”

Hi friends. Ashley and I have been sitting on this information for a bit. With Tyrion’s birthday coming up, we felt it was something that needed to be discussed. Although we still have more questions than answers at this moment, we felt it was time to share this news with our community and family because we are going to need all of you to rally behind us in this fight. On February 17th, we got the news that the biopsy of a lesion on Tyrion’s tongue was in fact squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive oral cancer. Needless to say, this has blindsided us. If you know anything about Ashley & I, our dogs were the very beginning of our love, marriage, and the life we have built together. They are our world. We are not giving up without a fight. We have a long journey of appointments and hopefully treatment in our future. With that being said, we want this birthday to be a really special day for Tyrion. Time is precious and we want to spend it with him and invite all of you to come wish him a Happy 8th Birthday! We really hope you can make it and that you bring all his fury friends to have cake & memories. Let’s make year 8 a day full of so much love for Tyrion!
