Our handsome, goofy big 3 year baby at his vet visit.
Our dogs get a yearly heartworm protection shot. It is cheaper than paying by the month for chews and then there is no chance of missing a dose. Ask your vet about it.

** SEEKING ADOPTER OR RESCUE. PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION **

Brutus was an owner surrender. He is said to be an Akita and Husky mix. At this point, he is 6 months old. He is not in the shelter and has been with a trainer. He has been through two potential foster homes at this point. He is not going to be an easy dog to home and we are being honest about it for Brutus’ sake.

Brutus absolutely can’t live with dogs or kids. It will not work out. We have tried and both times it was a fail. We know this seems crazy due to his age; but it is what it is. He is not bothered by cats.

He will need continued training and socialization. He needs someone who will not allow him to become the boss, meaning he needs an owner in which he respects. When Brutus is done with what is going on; he’s done. If he’s sleeping, he doesn’t want you to wake him up by touching him. He’s very stubborn.

When he respects you; he is a good dog. He doesnt have food or toy aggression. He loves walks, hikes, and keeping himself busy.

He is going to need a very special person to take him on and to be the best dog he can be.

If you or someone you know is interested in taking a husky or two on long walks, hikes in the mountains, river swims and snuggles on your bed and just LOVE lots of hair everywhere please let us know! Still looking for a home for Jo!
We thought we had a great new home but it is not working out :( He is a plush, white husky with blue eyes, unaltered, AKC, and microchipped. He just had a grooming and so he is looking a lot better. He was kept in a crate 24/7 and has some trust issues. We have been working with him. We do not crate him and whoever gets him would not be able to crate him either. He has trauma from being kept in a crate. He uses a doggie door to go outside and is housebroken. He is very much a talker and has a lot of energy. He needs a very loving, kind and patient home. He is such a sweet boy but will need time to acclimate to a new home. We will consider giving rights to the right situation, for a pet home he will be altered. Perfect home is one where he will get lots of exercise, he loves walks and free running, and one without cats(not sure how he will do) and with no small children(he is easily overstimulated). He gets along with all our dogs and loves to play. Husky experience a real bonus! If interested let's talk.
