The new wave of doodle has finally reached me 😂 My first Bernedoodle client, Lady! 🥰 She’s 4 months old and just had her first introductory face, feet, and sanitary trim with a bath and brush out.

Not going to lie, this breed crossing makes most groomers a little nervous-mainly due to the shear size of the double coated Bernese Mountain Dog in combination with the curly coat of the poodle. To be frank, the crossing has the potential to be a very large, matted mess if not cared for properly.

Luckily this girls family already have a doodle (an Aussiedoodle named Bear 🐻) and know they will need to keep her on a regular 6 week grooming schedule to avoid matting and shave downs. I’m really excited to watch this sweet girl grow. I’ll post her first full haircut in a month ❤️🐶
