It's Vaccine Clinic time and new changes are coming into play! For the foreseeable future, our vaccine clinic will only be held ONCE a month. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but we appreciate your understanding as we navigate through the recent changes here at PCH!
We will be doing the Vaccine Clinic out of our building in West Richland, and it is to be done as a drive through service. We ask everyone to stay in their cars and park in a line behind the building facing towards Enterprise Middle School. Our Vaccine Clinic wait times can be anywhere from 30-90 minutes, so please plan accordingly. We thank everyone for their patience! To avoid heat related injuries, please make sure your vehicle has working air conditioning, and that no pets are kept in truck beds.
We will come out to each car and get your contact and pet information, then bring your pet into the building to confirm general health and administer their vaccines, then bring the pet and paperwork back to you. If your patient is new to us, please bring any relevant prior vaccine records with you.
To be eligible to be seen at the Vaccine clinic:
- ALL dogs MUST be on a secure collar and leash. Please make sure to bring one with you if your dog is not already wearing it.
- ALL cats MUST be in a carrier or crate. If you do not have one available, you can PURCHASE a cardboard carrier for $9.74.
- ALL pets MUST be in good health. The Vaccine Clinic is not designed to treat sick pets. If your pet is ill, please call our center at (509) 578-1729 to schedule an appointment.
Due to the fast pace of our Vaccine Clinic, we are unable to provide other services such as performing toenail trims, prescribing medications or treating health issues including ear infections, dermatitis, or any other conditions.
The clinic will be at our full-service building located at 4900 Paradise Way, Suite 100 in West Richland, WA. Again, please come and line up IN YOUR CAR behind the building so we keep the parking spaces in front of the building open for our other scheduled appointments. There will be signs behind the building to help.
The Vaccine Clinic hours for September will be:
Saturday, September 6th 8am-12pm
This will be the ONLY vaccine clinic for the month of September.

September Is Su***de Prevention Month.

Did you know that Veterinary professionals face one of the highest su***de rates among all occupations? Being a veterinarian is a calling and a passion. It is not a way to “get rich”. Veterinarians are frequently accused of not helping, not trying, price gouging, not caring. None of that is true. If they could wave a magic wand and solve your pet’s problems, I promise you, they would.

More Veterinarians leave their work day depressed, feeling like they failed or in tears over losses, more often than celebrating a win.

Be kind to your Veterinarian. You don’t know what they had to deal with right before coming in for your pet’s exam.

⚠️Paw Alert: Hot Sidewalks Can Burn!⚠️

Before you head out for a walk with your pup, try the 5-second rule:
Place the back of your hand on the pavement.
If you can't hold it there for 5 seconds, it's too hot for your pet's paws! 🐾🔥

☀️ During the summer, the safest times for outdoor activity are early morning and late evening, when temps are cooler and pavement isn't scorching.

🐶 Brachycephalic breeds (like Bulldogs, Pugs, Shih Tzus, and Frenchies) are especially prone to heat stroke and should be monitored closely in warm weather.

Stay safe, stay cool, and remember—your pet’s comfort comes first! 💛
