We got a new slab poured in front of the shop today! This will make skull cleaning so much better! Now we are all set for bow season in a couple weeks….. if there are any mountains left to hunt. Feels like they are all burning up! Prayers for all those affected by the fires!

Also big shout out to construction for their awesome work on the slab. Very professional, responsive, and a great end product! 5 stars all around!

Here a couple recent projects I’ve been working on. Cleaned and whitened deadhead elk, turned out great! And this beautiful bear skull is all cleaned up and sitting in the degreaser for a couple weeks before we get it whitened!

New project showed up tonight! Boy oh boy does this one have a particular aroma!!! 🤧 Can’t wait to get that hide softened up, the gross stuff off, and that skull nice and white!!

Got up into the high country last weekend and we found this spike elk dead head! The new shop needs some decorating, so we got it instant approved on the dead head reporter app, and brought it home. After getting him all cleaned up, we decided to do a little accent burning on it. I really like how it turned out!

I just finished up my personal favorite turkey mount I’ve ever done. This is my oldest child’s first turkey (he’s 10). When working into this bird about 15 min before he got him, we stumbled across this matched set of mule deer sheds, so we had to incorporate those as well!!

Had a late onset hunter get their first pheasant at 34 years old this year!! So we had to do up a sweet custom tail fan mount with the skull! Missing tail feathers and all!!!…….. it was me…. I’m the hunter! 🤣

Shout out to Salt Creek Custom Ammunition for the 16 gauge bismuth loads!! Absolutely lethal!! I’ve shot at a couple other pheasants over the years and never connected. One and done with these loads!
