Here we have our second lock of the season! Both first time breeders, Osiris and Bellatrix took a while to warm up to one another. We are so glad that they have as we are really looking forward to a clutch from these love birds. 🥰

Our 2026 breeding season has begun! Osiris and Bellatrix - though neither has bred before - are getting nice and cozy. Each having a mate for the first time, they are both a little shy (as evidenced by them trying to hide their faces). 🥰

I just came across this majestic beast trying to cross the road. They weren't moving forward and were on a curve in the road right where a vehicle might hit them. I pulled over, carefully picked them up from behind while supporting their belly (*not* just grabbing their shell), and placed them in the grass where they seemed to want to go.

They did try to nip me a couple times. Considering that their shell probably measured about 16 inches across and their head was about as big as my fist, that wouldn't have felt great. Thankfully we made it to the grass near a pond without incident.

Though we keep only snakes at our shop, this beauty deserved every bit of care - and, in this case, assistance - as any other creature. I was glad that I was able to help them move before a vehicle struck them!

As temperatures are dropping, our shipping window for the year will soon be coming to a close. To find some of our kiddos new homes before then, we are offering up to 25% off all 2025 hatchlings! We're just about all set up for the expo in Rothschild! We brought only 11 hatchlings and juveniles with us today, but they have some great variety in their genes. We also brought Atreides - a beautiful Desert Ghost combo male and the father of one of this year's clutches - and the boss boa SEV himself!
