These two pieces were parts of Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife Museum in Springfield, Missouri. The reticulated giraffe was a new mount and the elephant was a complete restoration. The access doors to the exhibit were very small, so we had to engineer a way to fit these larger animals inside.

Interesting New York job, a three story circular stairwell filled with North American, Russian and Spanish shoulder mounts. A flock of Canada Geese is suspended overhead in the entry way, and as you move into the other rooms you see sculpted cliffs featuring tahr chamois and sheep from New Zealand. Nearby a pair of Bezoar Ibex from Turkey.

The second half of our great room in Colorado is an African Waterhole! Even though there’s more animals than you can imagine there seems to be one big predator missing? Can you guess which one we’ll add?

Our Colorado project is coming along! One half of this great room is showcasing ‘Mountain Goats of the World’ and displays these animals in their natural habitats. What will the other half of the room be? Keep posted to find out!
