Mine? Not This Time!

Today's Wag and Learn was focused on leave it and drop it, skills necessary for every pup. Whether it's the neighbor's cat or a dropped ice cream cone, leave it helps tell our pups what to leave alone. And if you've ever chased your shoe stealing pup around the house, you know how important a drop it cue can be.

We practiced leave it with some very tempting snacks, both stationary and walking, and drop it with some super fun toys. our students did amazing! Impulse control and engagement was the name of the game today, and we are so proud of all of them!

🧘‍♀️🐾 Zen Mode: Activated! 🐾🧘‍♀️

Today’s Wag and Learn session was all about finding our inner calm ✨

Our pups practiced the art of relaxation and calm focus with mat work designed to help them settle their minds and bodies. From hesitant wiggles to full-on chill mode, we saw some amazing progress!

Some pups embraced their inner yogi right away 🧘‍♂️ while others needed a little encouragement (and maybe a treat or two 😉). Either way, tails were wagging and hearts were full as they learned to pause, breathe, and relax.

We’re so proud of our Zen crew today – they nailed it! 💛

Some of you knew Will that worked with us here at the Pet Resort. 2 years ago he suffered a stroke and has been in the hospital since. Many of you visited, and donated to help the family cover medical expenses. We are so sad to have to inform you that Will passed away on Sunday.

He was a beloved member of our Pet Resort team and loved the dogs like his own little dog Jack. We have all been rooting for Will and hoping he would be able to bounce back but unfortunately he did not make it. He was a great father, son and furball family member.

You will always be in our hearts Will ❤️🐾

Our daycare dog of the month goes to......Molly🏅
Molly is an energetic lab who loves to run and play with all of her friends in daycare!!

Our lodging dog of the month goes to......Kaboom🏅
Kaboom is a sweet old man who loves to get lots of cuddles and be around people, he always looks so happy to be getting pets!
