The dogs and we have been having an adventure filled summer traveling cross country!

We have marveled at the grandeur of the Continental Divide as we traveled near the top of America through mountains and river valleys . (My closest and best view ever of wild bighorn sheep!)

Following an eastward journey, we felt small in the shadow of the Grand Tetons, cooled off in the mountain rivers and hiked through the cool forest trails in Illinois ( more river swimming ensued because we are of course a Golden Retriever family - and I mean Goldens & water …. Just sayin”)!

We celebrated the 4th of July next to the cornfields of Ohio where the green fields of trees & vegetation seem to roll on forever, hiked more wooded trails, spent a lot of time with wonderful family and friends …and swam as much as possible!

Feeling a strong pull to reach the Atlantic Ocean, we kept moving east and finally played in the waves of the ocean ! The real deal - light house, beach house,ever exquisite shells, and the wild ocean waves!

What an amazing, beautiful country we live in!

Thankyou to all the family and friends along the way that have enriched our journey and filled our lives with love!

I am so happy for Violet’s new home! ( Purple Girl)

A huge Thank-you to Ty and Heather for dropping everything to drive hundreds of miles to welcome her into their family!

A couple of licks to their cheeks and Violet settled in like she was born for them!

You- all of you KnappTrickGoldens puppy people, are a huge part of my life- bringing friendship and faith in human nature with your devotion to your dogs!

This is Jax x Ari’s girl.
We call her Violet 💜

We know that many of you like your new family members to be started on the basics of puppy training. So we almost always keep one puppy a little longer and get them started.

On that note… she has been doing extremely well and :

- is comfortable in a crate or kennel sleeping ( or in bed for a snuggle😄)about 6 hours before she wakes to go potty.

- takes care of business when we go outside and on cue with the phrase” go potty”.

- Sits on cue

- Excellent return when called.

- playing fetch and bringing it back( mostly 😄)

She is 10.5 weeks old.
Has had regular deworming and her second set of immunization as well as a clear well puppy examination. Her parents are OFA certified in hips, elbows, heart and eyes.

She is crazy about children playing with them every day and also loves playing with the big dogs!

She has voluntarily gone swimming in our pond several times and seems to really like water.

She plays with our cat and would like to play with the chickens! But is learning that they are off limits for chasing!

She is a very gentle , mellow girl who often studies new things before jumping into the fray! Without pressure, she has become quite confident indoors and outdoors.

This little girl is a delight and looks to be quite beautiful with a strong conformation and bone structure.

She is available to an approved family who promises to love and cherish her forever!
