Pupdate: Remember Blaze from Oakley’s Ultra Bernedoodle litter. He is now six months old, and his mom says, “He’s goofy, loving, and has definitely made his house his home. We are still working on leash training and walks, but he loves to ride in the jeep. Everyone loves Blaze.”

Pupdate: 🐾 Remember Lover Boy? His paw-rents call him Denver now, and say he has really grown into his own….but still hasn’t grown into his feet. He is a happy-go-lucky “little feller” who loves to play with his brother and thinks he is small and a lap dog. His potty training went very smoothly, and he was trained for that about two weeks after we picked him up. He is currently working with a trainer to gain more confidence and is doing amazingly well. If Denver isn’t on his mom’s lap, he is wrestling with his brother or splashing around in the pool.

Pupdate: Archie (formerly Flame) says “Happy Independence Day!” His mom had nothing but good things to say about him, from being potty-trained from the time he was adopted to being crazy about his ball or squeaky toys and loving water. How handsome is he now?? 🐾

Pupdate: Recall Romeo from Oakleys Bernedoodle litter?? He has matured into a handsome dood at 6 months old. Now called Kuma and he is growing at a rapid pace--currently around 56 pounds, and he seems determined to exceed expectations. His mom reports he is 100% potty trained, still some issues of impulse control and leash pulling, but is on his way to be a very good boy. 🐾

Ember has made a successful recovery from her cesarean section and has returned to her normal behavior. Initially, she exhibited some signs of searching for her puppy for a couple of days, but fortunately, this behavior was short-lived. She would take her chew toy to her bed and whine, which was a touching reminder of her recent experience. I am currently missing the opportunity to care for a litter of puppies, but I will utilize this time to focus on Ember's care and the needs of our other dogs, as well as attend to some pending projects. We will keep everyone informed about Ember's next breeding schedule. This is an ideal time to join our waitlist if you’ve been watching our program for a while.

A Bit of Sad News From Our Mountain Top Family 💔

This week has been an emotional one for us. After much anticipation, Ember was seen by our vet and we learned she was carrying only one puppy. Sadly, the puppy was not viable, and Ember required a c-section to ensure her health and safety.

While our hearts are heavy, our focus is entirely on Ember’s recovery. She is resting, healing, and being cared for with all the love in the world. Her health is our #1 priority, and we’re taking every precaution to help her get back to her normal, happy self.

We know so many of you were excited and hopeful about this litter, and we truly appreciate your support and understanding. We believe everything happens for a reason, even when it's hard to see in the moment.

We do plan to breed Ember again on her next heat cycle with Meeko, and we’re hopeful for a much better outcome.

Thank you again for walking this journey with us. Your kindness means more than you know.
