🐾💕 Willa's POV: My Very First Vet Visit! 💕🐾

Hiii frens! It's me, Willa! 🐶👑 Today I went on a BIG girl adventure to Republic Animal Hospital for my very first puppy checkup!

The second I was carried through the front door, the sweet lady at the front desk saw me and let out the biggest little squeal! 🥹💕 "Oh my goodness!" she said, and I just knew she was talking about how extra cute I am. My tail started wagging so fast it almost became a helicopter! 🚁🐾

There were soooo many new smells and sounds, and I wasn't quite sure what to think. But everyone kept telling me how pretty I was and giving me lots of smiles and pets, so I decided this place was actually pretty pawsome. ✨🐶

The nice doctor checked my little puppy heart, peeked in my ears, looked at my tiny teefs, and told me I'm growing into a healthy little princess. 👑💕 I was very brave, if I do say so myself. (Okay, maybe I needed a few extra cuddles. 🤭)

I made lots of new frens, collected tons of compliments, and worked very hard being adorable the entire time. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it! 🥰🐾

Now I'm home, all tuckered out from my big day, dreaming about treats, belly rubs, and all the nice people who loved on me at my first visit. 💕✨

As temperatures start to rise, it's important to help our furry family members stay safe and comfortable outdoors.

🐶🐱 Warm Weather Safety Tips:
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
🌳 Make sure pets have access to shade when outside.
🚶 Walk dogs during the cooler morning or evening hours.
🔥 Avoid hot pavement—it can burn sensitive paw pads.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.
😎 Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or weakness.

Remember, if it's too hot for you, it's probably too hot for your pet!

🌊🐾 Pool Paws & Water Wagging Tails! 🐾🌊

Summer is almost here, and many pets are ready to make a splash! ☀️🐶 While swimming can be great exercise and fun enrichment, water safety is important for our furry friends too.

💦 A few pet swim safety tips:
🐾 Never leave pets unattended near water
🐾 Rinse off chlorine or lake water after swimming
🐾 Provide fresh drinking water to avoid gulping pool water
🐾 Use a pet life jacket for boating or nervous swimmers
🐾 Watch for signs of fatigue — even good swimmers get tired!

And remember… not every dog is born to be Michael Phelps. 😂🐕
