So important information regarding peanut butter and nuts...
Unfortunately I see this a lot. Often it's intentional, which is even worse.
Such an important technique to know if your dog is choking on a ball. Don't rely on your vet. There is a video in the original comments that explain how to do this life saving procedure.
Good article on the use of Gabapentin for dogs.
Veterinarians are prescribing gabapentin in record numbers for canine pain and anxiety. Could it help your dog?
Attention dog owners!!
New pets need time to adjust, please give them that time.
We have seen this post making the rounds on our friends' newsfeeds. It's an excellent reminder to all of us who adopt and foster, to give these dogs times to adapt to their new homes. With love, patience and time-sometimes less- sometimes more, the reward of giving a dog in need a home is GREAT!
Is your dog one of these susceptible breeds?
I refuse to use these both with my personal dogs, but client dogs as well. So dangerous.
Why you should never shave a double coated dog.
Customers have reported mold problems, and now these natural dog treats are being removed from stores — but Zuke's says it's not a recall.

DOG BREEDS With The STRONGEST BITE
Personally I don't trim my dog's nails, she freaks out, but with regular walking they stay naturally trimmed. Here's an article on the correct way to do it. There are a lot of conflicting thoughts and comments under the original article.

With Spring and Easter around the corner, it's time to remind everyone about the toxic danger to cats from Lilies. Every part of a lily can be fatal, even the water. Although lovely, please don't have them in your home, it could mean the life of your kitty.
Lilies in the “true lily” and “daylily” families are very dangerous for cats.

Cat myths debunked by Veterinarians
Looking for a clingy kitty? Check out these seven breeds.
I know it can be irritating at times, but here's why it's important to let them sniff merrily along...
Heeling for the duration of a walk is an inappropriate and unrealistic expectation, unfortunately pushed by traditional punishment/alpha-based trainers (and by one certain tv “trainer” 🙄). Dogs can sniff the entire walk while maintaining a loose leash AND be connected and responsive to you. Win-win.
Newhouse Wildlife Rescue of Chelmsford
People call us all the time worried that the neighborhood fox is going to eat their cat, dog or child.
Considering the average fox is the size of a house cat, it is highly unlikely that it will bother your kitty. Cats are 40 times more likely to be harmed by other cats than a fox.
Your neighborhood fox is very shy and very unlikely to hurt you or your pets unless it is messed with. They are busy regulating the rodent population in your area and feasting on things much smaller than cats - like mice and rats. So just don’t poison their meals and let them be.
Please spread the word so we can teach others to live in harmony with their local wildlife. ❤️

It's important to know what you give your pets. This is an article about Apoquel, a very widely prescribed medication for allergies. https://drjudymorgan.com/blogs/blog/shocking-drug-statistic?fbclid=IwAR3lPl-fEqGMAXHBKePn8vHVSvKUE4R-PejJaDF3GWfXD8Lgl_LthhjV1uc

I'm sharing a blog written by a friend of mine, also a professional pet care provider. This is why we don't do every-other-day visits for cats...https://www.furpawssake.com/12-points-why-we-refuse-to-do-every-other-day-cat-visits/?fbclid=IwAR3fvnrfFI7U9g6P0heI2ZcVVPE7VikgGbUTfN6HP7hQRiSy_Xv5EjUv21M
I've seen way too many cringe worthy videos of children mistreating pets while the parents happily film away while laughing in the back ground. This is simply a recipe for disaster. Please don't allow children to pull, pinch, ride, hit, bite, poke or share their food. https://www.boredpanda.com/parents-teach-kids-pet-respect/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=BPFacebook&fbclid=IwAR2c9wCiseg9BdLClt45tbbWms_788JsnAiMNbsAbDSwRyFvsgmRa64ZsdU
We all love our dogs. We cuddle them, spoil them, and tend to forgive them for whatever mischief they create. It’s easy to forget that our beloved canines are, after all, animals. They howl, growl, and sorry to tell you the obvious, they bite.
