Cat playtime can be a bit rougher than you might expect. How can you tell if your cats are playing and not fighting?
- Claws remain sheathed
- Ears largely remain in normal position and not pinned back
- Their hair isn't raised
- No growling or hissing
- Minimal biting done without causing pain or injury
If you notice all of these signs, then you can remain assured that your cat is most likely just enjoying some rough and tumble time with their housemate!

One in three pets will get lost during their lifetime, and 9 out of 10 don’t return home. Should your pet become lost, it is crucial that they have proper identification to increase the chances of them being returned to you.
Though collars and ID tags can be helpful, they aren’t always a reliable form of identification since they can easily fall off or become hard to read over time. All this can easily be prevented by the use of microchips.
Get them Microchipped, register it, and make sure to keep the address updated!

Our family is so grateful to Renton Veterinary Hospital staff, especially Dr. Deal! Thank you for helping our old crusty pup, Toby, recover from a recent illness so he could celebrate his 16th birthday yesterday. Thank you, Dr. Deal, for all of your help over the years and for giving us 16 years with our very special, very stubborn, very funny guy. Dr. Young, whom we all loved and miss deeply, sure made a great decision when he added you to the team all those years ago. You are a wonderful human! https://www.facebook.com/100036317250111/posts/501665584387346/?extid=0&d=n
A big shout out to Renton Veterinary Hospital for their Hospice care of our beloved Duncan. Extra special appreciation to Dr. Deal.
Sad news today, sweet Rambo passed away ❤ He fought as hard as he could. We tried baby boy 🐾 If you would like to donate towards his vet bills: Paypal: [email protected] Venmo: @Casadog Direct donations to our vets: Greenwood Animal Hospital Renton Veterinary Hospital
Thank you for taking care of Dad's kitty, Houdini. You are kind and gentle. He was quite relaxed in your care.
Dr Singh cares so much about all the patients. He took excellent care of my ancient creaky dog, and always greeted him with kindness as "my old friend". He corrected his medication which made a huge difference in his quality of life. The vet techs were also kind and excellent at handling our rowdy dachshund for her clipping and trim, and the front desk staff are always friendly. They're not expensive either-totally normal prices even with being available on weekends. (and sometimes even staying late to help!)
A shout out to Dr. Kuldeep Sigroha and Renton Veterinary Hospital 🏥 who provided quality and compassionate care for Sookie!
