Happy Veterans Day to the newest member of our ABI/WCX family, "Rob" Robinson. Rob retired from the US Army after serving more than two decades in the US Army's 1/509 Airborne Infantry Battalion and serving in the Iraq War. We are excited to have him as a new member of our team!

Is it time to consider a new x-ray system?

Is your DICOM data HIPAA compliant? If not, the penalties for noncompliance of the federal patient privacy laws can range from $100 to $50,000 per violation (or per record), with a maximum penalty of $1.5 million per year for violations of an identical provision. Violations can also carry criminal charges that can result in jail time.

Let's Keep Our Furry Friends Safe 💕

April is "National Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month" and Advanced Biomedical & Imaging would like your help raising awareness about cruelty to animals and working to end animal suffering.

We encourage you to help in any way you can, whether it be volunteering at your local animal shelter, or making a donation to a charity. Some of our favorite charities are Pet Network Humane Society, ASPCA, National Canine Cancer Foundation, and American Humane. We hope you will join us in this worthy cause!

Our crew was busy completing an install at Pet Network Humane Society in Incline Village this week. The clinic has a new Summit InnoVet x-ray system, which they will use in providing the ongoing outstanding care their facility gives our furry friends.

Pet Network is a non-profit organization run by truly wonderful staff and volunteers. You can help to support their efforts by participating in some of their events like "Hooray for Hollywoof - Annual Fur Ball Gala" at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino on June 11, 2022.
