AAI aims to help create changes in attitudes quickly and bring an end to the terrible s

ituations animals find themselves in as people wise-up to the change that could change in our treatment of each other when animals are afforded the respect and kindness they deserve. Animals are being abused everywhere we look: From illegal backyard slaughterhouses to sacrificial cults to fighting rings including every animal imaginable. We have ordinance proposals to curb the sale of puppy mill dogs in stores in 8 jurisdictions in Northern Nevada and are authoring a state bill. We are working on making the serving of animal products made by force-feeding in Washoe County and are championing a state-wide ban on its sale and distribution. AAI is working in tandem with national activists to end the laboratory experiments on dogs, cats and monkeys in jurisdictions in northern Nevada. To protect animals further, intervention is often needed. AAI supports law enforcement in large-scale events: organizing a myriad of volunteers to fit the need of the circumstance. Meeting with and working with other national intervention organizations, AAI's mission is to investigate any probable animal misuse situation and bring the perpetrators to the fullest justice the law has to bear.
