Just some photos of my horses and my daughter Katheryn Burnett that have been trained by April Dinan April Scollard of Misty Blu Training here in Reno. I have had horses with April for over 15 years, some for training and showing and some just boarded. Katie has been taking lessons with April since she was 7 years old, and April has taken Katie and our horses from being very green beginners to National Champions. If you are looking for a great place to board your horse or put one in training and take lessons you couldn’t find a better place in my opinion. She cares for each horse like it’s her very own and works with each individual horse and owner to make sure they succeed in whatever direction they choose to go ( showing, trail riding , or just enjoying each other's company). She is located in Lemmon Valley and I believe you would find her rates very reasonable. Due to a client moving out of state she currently has room for some boarders and possibly one to put it into training.

Misty Blu had an outstanding Canadian Nationals. ROL Cylent Raider went National Champion Sport Horse Under Saddle and National Champion Sport Horse in Hand Hunter type. He received 7 other top tens in hunter pleasure , sport horse in hand, and sport horse under saddle. He also earned enough points to be called ROL Cylent Raider ++++//. Jakes Summer Majik went National Champion in Sport Horse in Hand Dressage type and won 2 other top tens in open trail and western pleasure jotr. Alexander Jamaal SA went Reserve National Champion in Sport Horse in Hand Dressage type and won 5 other top tens in halter, western side saddle, and sport horse in hand. Lymited Edition won 4 top tens in native costume and show hack. Not a bad showing for 4 horses doing such diverse type of classes!

Misty Blu wants to congratulate our clients on their wins at the Comstock Arabian Horse Association Year End Awards Banquet. Jane Wardlaw and her gelding Alexander Jamaal SA won Champion Arabian Halter Gelding and Reserve Champion Western Pleasure. Jammin Jimmy owned by April Dinan-Scollard won Champion Half Arabian Halter Gelding and Reserve Champion HA Country English Pleasure Horse. Isobel MP owned by Linda Krantz went Champion Arabian Western Specialty and April went High Point Adult Open Performance riding Isobel MP. For Goodness Jakes owned by Deebe Cooke went Reserve Champion Arabian Western Specialty. Lymited Edition owned by Reno Tischler went Champion Arabian English Specialty. Riette Heinze showed how versatile she is tying for High Point Comstock Limited English with RA Magic Love Affair and getting Reserve High Point Comstock Western with Galveston. ROL Cylent Raider owned by Lisa and Katheryn Burnett had a good showing. He went Reserve Champion HA Hunter Pleasure, Champion HA Hunter Pleasure JOTR and JTR, He tied for High Point Comstock Limited English, and received overall High Point Half Arabian! Katheryn Burnett received Champion Showmanship.
It was quite an impressive list of achievements for our barn! Congratulations again to everyone and let's have a safe and fun 2015 show season!

I love my clients at Misty Blu. They are all willing to jump in and help get the job done to make sure everyone gets into the show arena looking their best. Even if it sometimes means being a walking wardrobe. Thanks Jane Wardlaw!
