The lovely Elite mare Danciana (by Danciano), in foal to Las Vegas, and her coming 2-year-old daughter Skydancer (by Glock’s Zonik) have both sold! They went to wonderful new owners in the Netherlands 🇳🇱

We wish both owners a great future with these two beautiful mares. 🙏🏻🥰

Las Vegas showed a really nice collection at the KWPN first viewing of dressage stallions (first selection for approval process).

Blue Hors Monte Carlo made a great impression at the first selection round for young stallions of the Royal Dutch Warmblood registry in the Netherlands this week. There were only 6-7 c**ts born in the Netherlands in 2021. Three of them were presented in Ermelo and all three have been selected for the 2nd round! 🤩

That says a lot about the quality of this stallion. Our yearling Salute CCE is the only Monte Carlo daughter in North America. We bought her as a broodmare prospect but have decided to downsize and step back from breeding. Salute is a great opportunity for another breeder or ambitious rider. The judges loved her at her keuring last year. She is well handled and lives in Oroville, Northern CA right now.

Las Vegas, the KWPN stallion that Danciana is in foal to, has a new rider, Diederik van Silfhout. In their debut, they scored 76.691%. "Some small things still have to be cleaned up, but Las Vegas has so much going for him. He can do everything very well and has an extremely large amount to offer. I am very happy with it and curious what the future will bring," says Diederik van Silfhout about his debut with KWPN- stallion Las Vegas (Ferdeaux x Wynton).

After long deliberation, we decided to step back from breeding for a while. This means we are also looking for a new home for our lovely 8yo black mare Danciana. She is by Danciano x Florestan I and in foal to KWPN dressage stallion Las Vegas, due May 10th. She is located in the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Danciana recently earned the prestigious KWPN elite predicate when she passed her Ibop (suitability test) in October with 81.5 points. She is lovely to ride, easy to sit, focussed on the rider, no spook, rear, buck or bolt. Also to handle she is very sweet and well- raised. The perfect amateur’s horse! 👌🏻

Danciana is 16.3hh, no stable vices and up to date on shots and farrier. She got in foal first try and had two beautiful foals in 2022 (Glock’s Zonik filly, also available) and 2023 (Jameson RS2 c**t, sold to UK). They were both lightfooted, elastic and elegant with very pretty faces. With Danciano as her sire, she possesses the much sought after Donnerhall blood and qualities. Combined with Florestan as her dam sire, she carries great genes for a career as a broodmare🧬.

The impressive KWPN stallion Las Vegas (Ferdeaux x Wynton) is also the sire of Danciana’s unborn foal! Together with Jameson RS2 he sired the most young stallions that will be presented to the KWPN for possible approval next week.

The first viewing of the young KWPN stallions will start in Ermelo next week. During the first viewing, high-quality, almost three-year-old stallions come together at the KWPN center, where they are assessed by the Stallion Inspection Committee. From here the best stallions are referred to the second viewing during the KWPN Stallion Show 2024 in Den Bosch.
