Join us Saturday, October 24, for DVGRR’s Fall Fundraiser Reunion—a tail-wagging day of food, games, raffles, laughter, and Golden memories with alumni families, volunteers, and friends!

Campout fun will include:

💛 Plenty of time to celebrate rescue, friendship, and the dogs who bring us together

🐾 Patrick is only 7 months old. He should be discovering how wonderful the world can be. Instead, he’s learning that people can be kind. 💛

Patrick #3 is a young Goldendoodle who came to DVGRR from a breeder after experiencing neglect and traumatic circumstances. He arrived frightened of people, badly matted, with fur covering his eyes.

Now, little by little, Patrick is beginning to discover what it feels like to be safe.

Once he gets to know you, he’ll take treats. He likes toys and balls, has plenty of puppy energy, and will play with other dogs after he becomes comfortable with them. He’s even learned to love his crate — his own safe place where he can relax. 🐾

Patrick still has a long way to go. He needs a safe, quiet home with a mentor dog and someone who understands that trust won’t happen overnight. He needs patience, consistency and, most of all, love.

For the right person, watching this scared little boy slowly become the happy, confident dog he was meant to be could be something incredibly special. 💛

Need a new pic for a screen saver? Here it is! Nothing cuter than 4 snoozing puppies! These are Breeze's 4 male puppies born August 10th at DVGRR. They all have families anxiously waiting to bring them home when they turn 8 weeks old.

🔥 Think you can beat Blaze at keep away? He’d like to see you try. 🎾😂

Meet Blaze #5, a handsome 3-year-old Lab with brains, energy and plenty of personality!

Blaze can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once you’re in his circle, he’s all about the attention and petting. 💛 And when the toys come out? Game on! This big, playful guy is an expert at “keep away” and would happily show you exactly how it’s done.

Blaze is very smart and a quick learner. He’s looking for a family who will give him plenty of exercise, continue his training and help him channel all that Lab energy into becoming the best boy he can be.

Big. Strong. Smart. Handsome. And just waiting for the right person to discover him. 🐾

🚧🐾 LOOK WHAT YOU’RE HELPING US BUILD! 🐾🚧

Exciting progress is happening around our Special Care Unit — and it’s all thanks to the incredible support of our DVGRR community! 💛

This week, our newly leveled play yard got a big upgrade with the delivery and spreading of rubber mulch, new fencing is being installed, and even more concrete is being poured for improved walkways.

Every step brings us closer to creating safer, more comfortable spaces where our dogs can play, explore, exercise, and simply enjoy being dogs while they’re in our care. 🐕💛
