We took Echo out today to have her birthday ice cream at Salty Paws. She went with the birthday cake flavor. She got lots of attention and one young man(teenager)said that she was so beautiful. 😊
After ice cream, we headed to Beach Plum Island and had a very nice long walk. Echo sure loves her beach walks!

We arrived at the beach Monday evening for Echo's 14th birthday vacation! Today she turned 14 years old! 🥳 🎉 🥳 We had a great day despite not getting to do everything I wanted to do due to iffy weather. Tomorrow is another day. We have 2 more days with nicer weather on the way!
We hope all our FB friends are doing well!

Precious Echo is doing well! She had her yearly checkup back in March. Doc said she was doing great for her age.
In April, we had a bit of a scare. She had a seizure on a Thursday night and it took her a little longer to bounce back from and it really affected her mobility (back end). I thought I was going to lose her the next day. 😭 I had to call off work in the morning to be home with her to make sure she wasn't paralyzed. That morning I helped her with a sling to get her out to potty after she had been able to get up on her own and walk short distances. The more she walked around the better her walking got and she's been good ever since. Still, really freaking scary!
Next week she turns 14 years old! 14! ❤️😭🎉 We just celebrated her 5th Gotcha Day! 5 years already! Time sure is flying by! It's been such a privilege to be Echo's mom.
So far this year, 2026, has NOT been a good year. Our family received some bad news back in February and life just sucks right now. I'll make another post about that when I'm ready. Until then, just know that Miss Echo is good!
