July 23, 2023, Sergeant McGlone and her partner K9Ion were on routine patrol training with Patrolman Stearns when they conducted a traffic stop in the Adamston section of Clarksburg.

During this stop Ion gave a positive indication of the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of this vehicle led to the location of m**hamphetamine, ma*****na, oxycodone pills, digital scales, packaging materials, 2 fi****ms and nearly $500 in cash.

A male was charged with possession with intent to deliver (m**hamphetamine) and felony prohibited person in possession of a concealed firearm.
One female was charged with felony prohibited person in possession of a concealed firearm and possession of m**hamphetamine and a second female was charged with misdemeanor possession of m**hamphetamine.

Great job Sergeant McGlone, Ion and Patrolman Stearns.

Dara passed away today at the age of 13. She got one final ride in the cruiser. Dara was commonly seen at training after her retirement and loved to “work” up until her final days. You will be missed, Dara.
