Osceola County Animal Control If you love our animals but simply can't adopt another one... Ask us how you can "sponsor an animal"

As a municipal shelter, we accept animals from Osceola County only and may have a waiting list so we ask you call first when surrendering your pet. Since there are NO state laws regarding cats, we do not pick up cats. As an Animal Control Shelter, we take in stray domestic pets, accepting surrenders from our County's residents, and respond to animal related complaints, enforcing animal laws. Did y

ou know in the State of Michigan, it is illegal to permit your dog to stray off your property, onto another property or in a public roadway and a citation (ticket) can be issued for $225.00. An an additional $150.00 can be charged if your dog is found to be unlicensed. We thank you for keeping your pets safe at home and we are grateful for everyone who maintains their dog's license on their collars - as law mandates - to ensure a safe and speedy return of your lost pet! We love our pets here, and always strive to guarantee their needs are always met. We offer shelter to the weak and homeless, and a safe haven for all who enter our care. We thank you for your support to our mission of compassionate, kind care of our beloved furry friends!

Do you know who we are? Or where home is? They were found in Sears, north of 9 Mile Between 10th and 20th Avenue. Could be Clare County dogs as they are not that far from the East County line. BONNIE AND CLYDE as we are calling them are a devoted pair. Opposites do attract as finder states she (min pin mix) loves car rides and people, and He Likes to follow along being afraid of doors and cars. Thank you friends for your shares!

Facebook Friends we are in need of your help! These 3 young dogs possibly pitbull or pitbull mixes along with another grey pup about the same size and age have been running at large most recently in the Dighton area. We have reason to believe that they were previously in the Dewings Corner area of Leroy and prior to that near Rose Lake on 18 Mile Rd in Leroy. Its seems the dog owner may be staying with different family or friends in the Osceola County area and neighbors are reporting issues with these dogs damaging property within a few days of them showing up, they then seem to vanish once we attempt contact until they pop up in a different area. We are looking for any and all information on these dog's owner and current location. We appreciate your assistance in this matter and as always you can remain anonymous when providing information. Thank you!!

Animal Shelter

We are a small rural shelter with a BIG heart, located in Reed City Michigan, County operated on a modest budget, and with a small dedicated staff. In addition to responding to Animal related complaints within the County and enforcing Michigan State Animal Laws, we strive to provide loving, quality care for the pets that come into our shelter, and are dedicated to their well being and successful placement into loving homes should they remain unclaimed by their owners. This shows when some of our pets don’t want to leave! Pets that arrive with a collar are held for seven working days, pets without a collar for 4 working days, as recommended by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and then placed up for adoption. We recommend calling should you see a pet you are interested in to be advised when it will become available. We are fortunate to have such wonderful followers - who by liking and sharing our postings - help our pets find HOME! We Thank YOU for your continued support and welcome your donations! Our hours are Monday - Friday 11am - 5pm - Closed weekend and holidays. 231-832-5790. Somebody here needs YOU! We hope you’ll visit us soon!
