Introducing Cletus who was brought in late last week after showing up at a residence on US-10 between 120th and 130th Ave. Cletus is a young Intact Male Bassett Hound. He seems to be house trained and friendly with everyone here. We expected an owner to reach out reporting him missing, but no such luck. Though Cletus seems to be purebred he was found without a collar and isn't micro chipped. If you recognize this handsome mug or know where he might belong please contact the shelter. Cletus will be available for adoption next week if not claimed.

Blue tick hounds can smell up to 12 miles away... we are hoping that BEAUFORD's nose took him too far from home and that someone is missing him!! Picked up last week on 30th Ave between 10 and 11 Mile Rd in the Evart area. No microchip or collar to help get him back home. Though he seems house trained here, it is clear he was a hunter in his previous home. His nose is always to the ground and he can bay with the best of them!! Please share far and wide as BEAUFORD may even be from Clare or Mecosta county.

Mr. Cocoa Bean is here at the shelter awaiting his next adventure! BEAN is a neutered male, 9 month old Lab, Aussie, Pitty mix. He has been around kids, dogs and cats and seems to do well with everyone he meets. Bean lived in a busy household where he didn't get the attention or training he is clearly craving. He will need a refresher on the basic training, seems house trained here but we were told he had an occasional accident still in his last home. Bean would do best in a household with older children as he doesn't know his size and wants to play with everyone he meets. Call to schedule a meet and greet with Mr. Cocoa Bean today!!

There's no Shame in our Game!! "Cone's of shame" - how about CONES OF FAME!! These 3 lovely ladies were Spayed and Rabies Vaccinated last week by the wonderful staff at Pleasant View Animal Clinic!! They are proud to be sporting their cones to show that they are fixed and ready to live out the rest of their lives in Stardom!! Though their adoption fees are small at a mere 15 dollars, their hearts and personalities are worth their weight in gold!! Stop in to take home one of these famous ladies this week!!

The Ever so Handsome DUKE is looking for the perfect furever home!! He is a big young boy with lots of energy to play and learn. Duke is believed to be around a year old and is an intact male Boxer Pitty mix. He loves people and other big dogs that he can play with, but may not be the best friend to small children, small dogs or cats as he doesn't know his size and needs a little help learning manners.
