VanaTee Farm is looking for help! Both jobs can be done by one person, or 2 people, schedule is flexible and can easily work around other jobs!

1) Seasonal Irrigator: Part time Tuesday through Friday, to move 2 (shorter) wheel lines, and water through permanently set handlines over 15 acres. Must have reliable transportation, some irrigation experience a plus but not required. Pay DOE

2) Seasonl Farm Help: Part time, helping build fence, repair barns, etc. Must have reliable transportation, some construction or fence experience a plus but not required. Pay DOE

Thank you everyone for you understanding while we were on vacation!!!! We definitely knocked a few things off the bucket list this last week and had fantastic time at the 2023 NFR. I can't begin to describe how awesome it was to see Vegas overrun with cowboys, cowgirls & rodeo!! Now back to our regularly scheduled program!!!

It has been a fantastic, frantically paced Fall so far!! I'm not really sure where October has gone, but it's been a blast!! Here is a snap of Peggy and I this last weekend picking apples for sauce & butter and purchasing some crates of fruit for the livestock!! Keep an eye out for upcoming events, pantry specials, and a great opportunity to restock the freezer with our delicious meat!!

The third part of my whirlwind trip yesterday was making the trek North to visit and .eats in Rainier, OR. All I can say is WOW!!! Rebecca & Mike are absolutely awesome. They 💯 love what they do, and their lovely Meishan pigs, chickens & turkeys are the proof. Their Meashan ambassadors are incredible, kind, and so so sweet!! Especially Kai & Six!! The wealth of knowledge in the breed, land regeneration, and ethical treatment of their stock is incredible. Their pork products look amazing, and I truly enjoyed my visit!! Can't wait to try their pork box, and looking forward to another visit!!
