Redfield Friends of the Animals The Redfield Friends of Animals Rescue group assists Redfield Animal Control in providing care, advocating for, and promoting adoption of current animals.

We are a foster based rescue that depends on donations and fosters to help our continued mission. The Redfield Friends of the Animals Rescue group is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Our main goal is to assist the Redfield Animal Control in the adoption process of the current city pound population. Along with this, we also work to provide needed medical assistance, advocate and promote spay and

neuter education, assist in any repairs of kennels, collect and organize donations, etc. We are not a quick fix. We do not have a facility so we are a foster only based rescue. We NEED Fosters! Being a foster family will allow a dog to remain in the home setting and remain socialized. Our kennels are all outdoors and the dogs only get a short amount of time out of their small pen and with a person. This can cause rapid deterioration which leads to their becoming un-adoptable which can then lead to euthanasia. It is the goal of the RFOAR to prevent any dog from being put down. Meet Barney! 🐾
Barney is a young adult pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This handsome boy is full of playful energy and loves making new friends. He's incredibly sweet and affectionate, but he's still learning that not everyone enjoys his enthusiastic style of play. With a little guidance and continued training, Barney is sure to become an amazing companion.
Barney will be ready for adoption soon after he finishes up his vetting. He would thrive with an active family who can keep up with his fun-loving spirit. Because of his bouncy, rowdy play style, he'd do best in a home with older children.
If you're looking for a happy, goofy best friend to join your adventures, Barney can't wait to meet you! ❤️🐶
