ALLERGIES IN THE HORSE:

"Feeding a product like ours could definitely help with allergies. It does so by helping all the way down to the cellular level.

There is research showing fatty acids like those found in our products can help cells work better by increasing the integrity of the cell wall. This enables the cell to block those allergens from entering the cell and causing an inflammatory response to begin with. This is where the itchiness comes from.

Many of our products contain fish oil which has been researched and shown to have powerful anti-inflammatory properties. This can help with the allergic response as well. Less inflammation means less irritation.

I recommend the Equine Omega Complete for those horses that have allergies. Know that feeding a supplement can take some time to work. I have some clients that see a significant difference quickly and some that see results after 30 to 60 days. If you can start feeding the Complete early, before allergies peak you can get a lot better (and quicker) results than if you start feeding it at the height of the allergic response.

"I wanted to quickly share two success stories with you. First is an easy win an I’ve included a picture of my daughter’s beautiful dappled sorrel pony below. Her pony has always been a head turner but since we started her on Equine Omega Vitamin E, we have scored some amazing dapples on a really hard to dapple sorrel.

Second case is even more successful. This is a 16 year old Swedish warmblood that I sold last year that was diagnosed last fall with EPM and had a very poor outlook.
