Hard work pays off 🌟 Congrats to this week's Winner's Circle Wednesday featured pair Candace Elizabeth Bell and Nell Wade's 6-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Oscar (Gunner KS x Vodulia) for winning their Novice Horse division at the Rocking Horse Spring H.T. this past weekend on their dressage score of 17.2 👏

“Oscar and I have so much fun together and work hard for rides like this weekend," shared Candance.
"We’re fortunate to have an incredible team to support us in his owner Nell Wade, Nicky Buckingham who sourced him, Dr Matt Povlovich our vet, and farrier Judson Smith. We come to Rocking Horse whenever possible; the volunteers and staff host a great horse-friendly event with top competitors starting the season.”

As blanket season is in full force upon us, here is a very important reminder courtesy of the horse doctors at Miamitown Equine Veterinary Services:

"When securing blankets, make sure that the snaps/clips are facing inward, toward the horse! If they are facing out, they can easily become stuck on something, like the hay net in the picture."
