I have reached out to everyone who had a missed appointment but if you feel I missed you please reach out so I can get you scheduled if interested. Now I will be going through Sunday- Monday appointments getting them rescheduled if interested. This is not for clients groomed by me (Russell) but the other van. After everyone is moved and online booking is open things tend to go fast so I’m just making sure no one feels left behind before opening the books up! I'm currently working on scheduling weeks 2–4. Thank you to everyone who responded and helped make the transition from weeks 1–2 go smoothly—your support means a lot!
Tomorrow, I’ll be doing weeks 4-7 out and tomorrow i will also be reaching out to those appointments that got missed and finding the soonest availability possible. I’ll also be reviewing Sunday–Monday appointments after since the van won’t be servicing those days, and will make sure those clients are rescheduled if needed.
If time allows, I’ll begin moving up appointments for those who’ve requested earlier dates. After that, I’ll reopen online booking and start responding to new client messages on Facebook.
I truly appreciate your patience. I know your time is valuable, and I’m working through everything as quickly and carefully as I can.

As we shift things moving forward, I am trying to do a week at a time, each day in the books, and allow people some time to reply because I know how busy life can get. So I'll be reaching out, waiting 24 hours until I reach out again to confirm if we are keeping the appointment or not. As slots open, I will pull from the appointments that have been missed first, followed by those that might be booked out in advance that might want to move sooner. After this is situated, I plan to start adding new clients again. I will do my best to get to all as soon as possible so the books get corrected and we can get online booking turned back on. I am blessed to have such strong support through this change really makes the changes exciting. Thank you for your patience during this time; I apologize for any inconvenience. When I first started affurmative one thing that was mentioned was people enjoyed when I showed up consistently. I do know it’s frustrating getting rescheduled last minute we heard the concerns and other things clients have spoken up about, and we decided it was best to make adjustments. We have a new groomer starting named Shelly in the second van starting next Tuesday. She has 10 years of mobile experience! She’s excited for the opportunity after hearing what the company offers and we can’t wait to have her on the team. In addition to this, I plan on hiring a bather as well so I can do more dogs to help this transition. I know why I started this company- “One Goal, One Passion, One Dream- Excellence in Pet Care.” I just hope this shows that we will continue to strive forward and make adjustments to make yall feel heard and do the best we can to offer amazing service to these pups so you feel comfortable referring family and friends! In this time we won’t be booking any new appointments just yet, but just trying to reset everything at the moment. While we are excited to start this new shift we want to wish Kenny his best on his new adventures. I will start making new appointments as soon as we situate everyone in the books asap. Just wanted to reach out on couple things. Online booking was turned off recently till May because no room for new clients. Who is a new clients? Anyone that doesn’t have their name in our books actually. That’s right if you don’t rebook or reschedule we do not hold the spot and it becomes available for the next client. We can only book new clients within a 4 week period. This is because we have other clients on 2,3 and 4 week maintenance and need to leave spots for them. I just wanted to be transparent so if some reach out and no longer have a spot that’s why because both vans going 7 days a week it’s easier to manage what’s already in the books. So if you need to move your appointment and like service please reschedule not cancel. If you want guarantee service rebook after your next appointment. We are able to fill spots till the end of march, once all those spots are gone we will have to pause new clients spots. New client is anyone whose name is not on the books currently. If you cancel and don’t rebook that spot is up for grabs. Once full I’ll turn online booking off and will do our best to still help out other short hair bath dogs or dogs that may live by if we can squeeze them in but no garentee. Summer is coming so I do not expect our books to be open with how many recurring clients we already have and one van being already full. So remember to rebook after your appointment to hold your spot, reschedule dont just cancel or that spot becomes open for grabs. Multi dog homes please leave a note or mention it because we also could try and find spots for all dogs same day. Hope you all have a blessed day and we truly appreciate you for choosing our services.

Also if you do have an appointment in the books already and want to book out your next appointment thats works and will accept if it’s past the 4 week period still but must already have appointment in the books. So till march for now but after that our limit will be only accepting appointments within a 4 week period. This ensure a spot for our clients already in the books. How it started vs how it’s going. We have worked very hard over the past three years, and it shows. We have 108 dogs left to groom until Christmas and are very excited for the new year. My favorite thing I’ve heard all year is when people tell us how easy we make grooming for them and how glad they are to have found us. That was the goal I set out to achieve. We plan to take some continued education classes in 2025 to help us become better pet professionals. The beauty of this career is the constant room for improvement and the drive to be better than yesterday. Thank you as always for the constant support, hope you all have a great day!

Please keep in mind that dematting is a very painful process that is very damaging to the dogs skin and coat. This is why we choose to shave matted dogs because we believe it’s our job to help them not hurt them. Remember to use your comb to help remove tangles that form at the skin after brushing! The dogs well being will always come first. Yes this still applies with winter here. Some cuts simply don’t last past 6 weeks so it’s best to pick the cut you want to maintain in between grooms. I’ll post a link to our favorite brush and comb in the comments!

Rudy is here to help bring some news! We have some changes coming at the start of the year. As of now the online booking is turned off. This is because we have started a waiting list to book. We are also going to reduce working days from 30-31 to 26-27 a month. Taxes will also be applied to invoices. Continued improvement on adjusting prices closer to current market. I want to thank everyone for your continued support. Waitlist link will be sent and reply to all the inbox messages a day when I get home at a decent time. Right now main focus is what’s on the books and getting through the holidays.

Yesterday, I serviced 12 dogs. Upon returning home, I attended to payroll duties and discovered five outstanding invoices. As per our policy, payment is due immediately upon completion of service. To avoid future delays, please settle invoices promptly. If payment is not received by the end of the business day, I will reach out the following morning for settlement. Once paid, I will remove the corresponding appointment from our books and accommodate the next client on our waiting list. I manage appointments, confirmations, and associated tasks, so timely payment is appreciated. Establishing clear boundaries is crucial for our business growth. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sorry I haven’t replied to any messages I did 69 dogs total last week with no bather. Along with some stuff with the vans and washer/dryer at home giving me some problems. We are super booked up I’d say 4 weeks or so. Time we start a waitlist so anyone that books past the 4 weeks mark will go to a waitlist. After all spots are booked with recurring clients I’ll turn online booking off. During this time we will be adjusting prices to make sure each breed/dog is to our average price of time spent if not will being increased. Meaning if we spend extra time on your dog than average for that price it will need to be adjusted. Also things like this make us late which can be inconvenient for the next client. Some dogs might need more frequent grooming or shorter cuts to get the starting at price. I’ll try and get to all online appointments and messages today after my 9 dogs.
