For TBT this little beauty (Madison) showed up in my memories today. Funny how they just steal our hearts, isn't it? Every dang one of them. Madison was a true B*&CH but we loved her salty ass anyway. She was stubborn, and the boss always. Vet told us she had abdominal tumors and wouldn't make it more than a few more months. We adopted Dixie and then Madi lived 3 more years! DOH! Stubborn as a mule this girl. So we had 3 dogs for 3 years....not my intention...but the old girl wasn't letting go.
But when Madison was done, she just walked to the edge of the property, laid down....she waited for Bill to say good bye...then passed to doggie heaven. She was sure beautiful. And loved camping and hiking.
I would LOVE to see pictures in the comments of your dogs who have gone to the Rainbow Bridge....and maybe a little about their story? That seems like a fun thing to share today! A good start to the weekend ❤❤❤

Throwback Thursday: back in my Jackson days I was on the PAWS of Jackson Hole board and volunteered walking dogs on the weekends🐕....We had just built new dog enclosures but the poor kitties 🐈were in a windowless room. 😢 And kitties didn't seem to get adopted as much as pups so many of them were there for awhile. I came up with the idea of building a "cattio," so PAWS promptly came up with fundraising and here is the result! "Meow Manor"...lol😅....I have to say that, other than Bell Fitness, it is one of the business type things I am proudest of. The kitties were so happy being outside! 🐱🐈🐈‍⬛

I've always done a Christmas card. 🎄 ALWAYS. This year, there was just too much on my plate, so I decided on a New Year's card. At this rate, it may be Valentine's Day! LOL. 😅 I'm sure my busy mommas out there can relate, right? Sometimes, some things just have to go in order to keep our sanity. Anyway, here is our 2024 card, in case I don't get 'em sent out.
