Hello All.

Verizon is reported to be having a nationwide outage. Phones are in SOS mode.

Sadly, Dr Sotela uses Verizon for her phone

BUT AT&T for the tucks WiFi!! ☺️

If on Wi-Fi, it appears that the phone can be used somewhat normally, but if off Wi-Fi, no calls, messages, texts, or communications are being received.

Thank you for your patience.

Remember this eye from a few weeks ago? Here it is at day 13 (suture removal) and day 26 (today). We are all very happy with the outcome. We have our patient to thank for not rubbing his eye!!!

A little tussle with a hay feeder led to one of Dr Sotela’s favorite laceration repair anatomic locations! Not so desired is the recent need for reading glasses 🤓 to see the 5-O suture. 😆

Are you a fan of horse health mythbusters posts?

Next Wednesday, join AAEP veterinarians Drs. Carrie Hammer and Michael St. Blanc for a wide-ranging, light-hearted look at some common equine veterinary myths and the truths -- and misconceptions -- behind them. They'll engage the audience with a poll about each myth, followed by a discussion of the topic.

Registration is FREE but required. A recording of the webinar will be available if you miss the live event.

One of the many aspects that I enjoy about my work. There are so many talented and wonderful farriers in our area who are willing to collaborate and brainstorm for the benefit of our horses. Thank you!!!
