Our charity offers youth programs with camps, lessons, and service projects to help children and teens become animal-loving citizens, with horses as part of their journey. We will provide horse and farm animal rescue and rehabilitation or retirement as part of an enrichment program that nurtures the connection between our local youth & animals who need our care. We believe in the power of animals
to inspire and facilitate growth, foster emotional awareness and provide a sense of purpose. Our program will provide different experiences to different age groups and participation levels. Our younger children will have the opportunity to experience farm and ranch life that they may otherwise not have access to. Our older participants will learn farming, ranching, horsemanship, and farm animal handling. They will establish a positive work ethic and skill set to facilitate a future in the work force. They will establish a strong self-esteem as they are learning diverse abilities while facing challenges to grow their overall character with positive outcomes. We will facilitate community outreach and we will participate in local events and visit with people who would benefit from interaction with our participants and animals. These opportunities will teach responsibility and foster a sense of community. These community outreach events will aid in public speaking, community service, educating others, leadership, and cultivating advocacy skills that will last a lifetime. We hope to use this strong foundation as a building block to learn and grow on.
