⚠️ RABIES FOUND IN BATS IN TEHAMA COUNTY ⚠️

Tehama County residents are urged to take precautions after rabid bats were recently found in the Antelope and Bend areas of Red Bluff.

Rabies is a deadly virus that can affect both animals and humans. Vaccinating your pets is the best protection for your family and community.

🐾 Important Reminders:
• Ensure your dogs, cats, and livestock are current on rabies vaccinations.
• If an unvaccinated animal comes into contact with an infected bat, the animal may be subject to a mandatory 6-month quarantine.
• Do NOT handle bats or allow pets to interact with them.
• If you or someone you know may have been exposed to a bat, seek medical attention immediately.

This kid is only 600 boxes away from reaching her goal of 1500 boxes! We only have a few weeks left to sell. The proceeds from her cookie sales not only help support her troop, they will help her earn money for her trip to Japan next year. We can deliver in the Red Bluff area.
