At least 2 were from fishermen. Over 50% of the plastic in the oceans is fishing nets. Maybe it is time we rethink what we are doing to the world and how. Skipping a plastic straw is like moving a thumbtack out of your path but leaving the roofing nails.

We are looking for small sanctuaries and even micro sanctuaries in NY, OH, NJ, PA, DE and MD who want a way to have more reach in adoptions, covering basic needs and more. Message us for more info or message Michael Brown as that is our Board member who came up with the idea.

We have been doing this for years but now we want to get more people involved as well as have it so the sanctuaries can help each other instead of us being the middle person.

Trash clean up Terry Reiley park PA results. I would need to do 4 more trips like this if no one left any new trash to get it 100% clean. Like and comment to inspire more stuff to get done.

Trash clean up again at Terry Reiley park in PA. Big thanks to AutoZone in Schuylkill Haven for donating gloves for cleaning up trash. I will post the final trash count in the post below.

Over the next month or two we will be focusing on helping the feral cat population in local areas to us. We may get a sponsor to help this.

With kitten season here work needs to be done.

Fixed last years numbers and added what we have done so far this year. Here we go:

-Animals helped by way of our care, wildlife rescue, donations to feed feral colonies, TNR, domestic rescues and more. It does not count animals helped when we plant trees, saves acres of rainforest, plant wildflowers and more. 297 animals helped so far.
-Roadkill removed from the road 4. This helps both people and animals that scavenge.
-Miles driven by staff to support animals 65
-Interested people spoken to about veganism 12
-Hectors of land protected to help endangered Orangutans = 4 hectors (9.884 acres) for 3 months.
-Co2 offset by planting trees, protecting rainforest and more. = 14,440 lbs.
-Trash in parks picked up 217 pieces
-Trees planted 1
