I sometimes get calls to remover little gals and guys like this harmless Garter Snake. I always ask people if they would prefer mice in the house over this snake in the yard that hunts small creatures like mice. Each time it has ended the same with the person wanting to let the snakes be cause they did not want mice indoors. Sometimes we humans need to understand the purpose of someone or something before passing judgement.
