We’ve been MIA on here with spring in full swing, but for good reason!
Meet Gertrude (AKC Merrill’s True to the Spot) - the newest member of the MK9A pack. I’ve been missing detection dog training, so I figured I’d add a little chaos in my life! Gertrude is from Kentucky with Merrills Detector Dog Services, is now 5 months old, and is starting her detection training off with a bang (figuratively 😜). She has a big personality (and is sure to let everyone who meets her know) and we are so excited to share her journey with you!
With her arrival comes some changes - now that we have spoken to all our clients, we will no longer be offering Day School on Monday and Wednesday starting in May (Tuesday and Thursday will still be open for Day School!). We will still be offering group classes those days and will be open for private lessons all day! It was a tough decision for me to make, but I know it’s the best one for me both personally and professionally.
Stay tuned for updated classes being posted here! We currently have an AKC Star puppy, basic obedience, and Manners 2 class open which you can book online! I’ll be opening some new ones (an in public class, agility on Saturdays once the weather cooperates, and possibly an alumni refresher class for our clients who just want to have fun!)
I will be responding to everyone who has reached out over the next couple of days! Stay tuned for more changes (and more Gertie updates!)
