📢 Important Clinic Update for Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, we will be having some work done on our building. It may get a little warm inside the clinic.

To help keep everyone as comfortable as possible, we ask that clients limit in-person visits until 12:30 PM if possible. We will still be able to accommodate quick walk-in services such as nail trims and fluid appointments, but we encourage anyone needing a morning appointment to call our Lee's Summit location.

📞 Lee's Summit: 816-477-5246

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make this improvement to better serve you and your pets! We look forward to welcoming everyone back into a cooler clinic tomorrow afternoon.

☀️ Summer heat can become dangerous for our pets much faster than many people realize.

Dogs and cats are at risk for heatstroke, but brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds such as French Bulldogs, Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boston Terriers are especially vulnerable because they have a harder time cooling themselves through panting.

Watch for signs including:
🐾 Excessive panting
🐾 Drooling
🐾 Weakness or lethargy
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 Bright red gums
🐾 Disorientation or collapse

Help keep your pets safe by:
💧 Providing plenty of fresh, cool water
🌳 Keeping them in the shade or indoors during the hottest parts of the day
🚗 Never leaving them in a parked vehicle—even for a few minutes
🐕 Limiting outdoor exercise during peak afternoon temperatures

If you suspect your pet is experiencing heatstroke, move them to a cool area immediately and contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.

🧺🐾 Help Us Keep Our Patients Cozy & Comfortable! 🐾🧺

Our clinic is running low on towels, and we're asking for a little help from our amazing clients and community! 💙

If you have new or gently used bath towels that you're no longer using, we'd love to give them a second life caring for our furry patients. Towels are used every single day to keep pets clean, warm, dry, and comfortable during their visits and treatments.

Donations can be dropped off anytime during our regular business hours.

Thank you for helping us provide the best care possible to our four-legged friends. We truly appreciate your kindness and support! 🐶🐱❤️

🇺🇸🐾 Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be frightening for our furry family members. 🐾🇺🇸

As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, let’s make sure our pets are prepared too! Even the happiest, most confident pets can become overwhelmed by loud noises, unfamiliar guests, and holiday festivities.

We’ve put together a few simple tips to help keep your pets safe, comfortable, and right where they belong—at home with the people who love them. ❤️

Wishing you and your four-legged family members a safe, happy, and stress-free Fourth of July! 🎆🐶🐱

🎆🐾 Fireworks season is almost here! 🐾🎆
If your furry family member struggles with anxiety during the holiday festivities, we want to make sure they're comfortable and safe this 4th of July! Please contact us as soon as possible to request anxiety medication for your pet.

⏰ All requests must be submitted by Friday, July 3rd at 12:00 PM to ensure your pet's medication is ready in time!

📋 Please note: In order to prescribe anxiety medication, your pet must have had an exam within the past year. If it has been longer than that, no worries — give us a call and we will get your pet in for an appointment before the holiday!

Don't wait until the last minute — let's get your babies taken care of before the big booms start! 💙❤️🤍
