Look at this HUNK!

Colby is the absolute sweetest dog! He came to our rescue in rough shape (only weighed 60 pounds) but is now thriving and gaining weight. He is a fast learner who will flop over for a belly rub if anyone even looks in his direction.
He is leash trained, kennel trained, and seems to be house trained. He has gotten along with all the animals he has met so far including; dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, and goats. He is a happy guy that would love his family SO SO much! He is around 2-3 years old. He does have some arthritis in his hip, and requires a daily medication. The cost for these meds is about $10-$15 per month. Colby is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and ready for adoption now!

Damian is around 5 pounds at 6 years old. He is a retired show dog, and still has his little sho-dog prance. He is a sweet little guy, who is absolutely thriving in his foster home. He has been a quick learner in the home, and does well with house training. He has gotten along with all the dogs and cats he has met so far, and his adoption fee is $250

Naomi is a WONDERFUL girl! She has loved all the cats, kids, and dogs she’s met so far. She is right around 8-12 months old, and full of teenage energy. She is long and lean, and built for sport, an active person would be her best companion. She is super smart, a quick learner, and is already house and kennel trained.

We need your help!
We received a number of dogs from a notorious middle Missouri commercial breeder. They were in terrible condition, with ear infections, pelted fur, etc.
Worst of all they are HEARTWORM POSITVE!
They have all been groomed and are on medications now, but we need to raise funds for their expensive, but life saving, heartworm treatment. If you are able, we could sure use some donations to help with this large unexpected expense.

It was a bittersweet day.
Today we had our very last adoption at our Raytown location. Tomorrow I turn the keys over to the new owner, as one chapter closes and a new one begins. This adoption will stick with me for many reasons, and I’m grateful I was a part of it.
Some of you might remember the FOX4 News Kansas City story last week (link below) about a vision impaired gentleman who was scammed out of money, and a potential support dog.
Today we were able to right that wrong by giving him a fantastic pup! Dynamo and Mr Turnage were fast friends, and we are greatful to be a part of completing this family…one tail at a time.

Sweet Susie LOVES car rides. She is a very intelligent and very driven Standard Poodle. She would be great for someone who is active, or even wants to do dogs sports. She has great ball and toy drive, and will pretty much parkour to get a ball she’s after. She is great with other dogs, loves to play, and takes correction well. She would be best in a home without small animals, including cats and dogs that are under 25 pounds.
