We are sad to report this good looking, loving boy, Hulk is back with us. No fault of his own. He was officially adopted by someone who promised to love him forever and suddenly returned him because he barks. Zero behavior issues, housebroken, likes other dogs, loves kids and attention...he barks. Hulk is deaf and the owner was offered training help from The Pet Connection and all assistance was refused.

A deaf dog isn't a hinderance, and Hulk is very smart and learns fast. He's adapted so well it's hard to know he cannot hear you, although we believe he can hear deeper voices to some extent. He would need a home that really wants a dog for the rest of their life. A fence is a plus, or he would need to be leash walked while outside. He really enjoys having another dog in the home he can follow around and play with. He's still a baby and around a year and a half old. He's neutered, fully vaccinated and has a microchip.

This boy deserves a good life and someone who really wants a dog to love forever.

Meet Duke and Aimee! Duke is a male with adorable floppy ears that may stand here soon and Aimee is a female with her ears already up! Both pups are around 4 months old, smart as can be and are your typical husky puppies. Both pups will have two rounds of puppy vaccines, be spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Meet Lola! This great girl was found by a caring resident on their morning walk through Kenagy Park last week. With some help from KC Dog Trappers, Lola was lifted out of the brush she was hiding in and went to a foster home to decompress. This girl was pretty beat up, scabs and scars all over, her foot looked like something had bit her, fresh wounds on top of her head, her ears were painful and irritating to her and through all of that she showed she has nothing but love to give. She has been checked over by a veterinarian and is receiving medication for both her ears and skin and she loved the attention the veterinary staff gave her!

We are so thankful for her temporary foster because we know a lot more about Lola. We know she potties outside, kennels well, seems to get along with other dogs, she has not been cat tested and is enjoying playing with toys and receiving consistent food, love and care. Dogs like Lola often have been in survival mode for so long they could not spend energy playing or relaxing. She had to use her limited resources while on her own to stay alive until help found her. In true dog fashion, as soon as she didn't have to worry about getting her basic needs met she was ready to love and play again! This girl is around 6 years old, a smaller tri color bully mix and she will be spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped prior to her adoption.

Certified good girl Kenzie is going to be hanging out with us again for the next week, while her foster family is out of town. Now would be a great time for you to come meet this amazing dog. She is around 3 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She has done well with other dogs, staying in her fence, kids and previously she did a dog day out in a home with cats and was nicely curious. She knows sit, is doing very well on her leash manners and goes outside to potty.

Little Josie is loving life in her wonderful foster home, but she would like to find her forever home soon! She does great with smaller dogs, larger dogs, cats, kids and she LOVES anything soft to lay on! She is around 2 years old and is a smaller pit/lab mix around 38lbs. She loves to play but also relax and snuggle.
