Move over, Hollywood—there’s a new starlet in town! Marilyn is a stunning calico just under a year old, and she’s already stealing hearts faster than her brothers, James Dean and Clint Eastwood, can squabble over the spotlight.

Sweet, cuddly, and just the right amount of shy, Marilyn is the type who likes to warm up on her own terms—think red-carpet entrance rather than a surprise party. Once she decides you’re her person, though, she’ll happily cuddle, play, and keep you entertained with her gentle charm.

This handsome boy has the sweetest soul and the purr to match. At about 5–6 years old, Sunny has already been through more than his share of hardship. He was abandoned at a trailer park, his ears frostbitten from the cold, and even had broken teeth from trying to survive on scraps. But Sunny’s story is one of resilience and love.

Now safe indoors, Sunny is constantly purring, loves to be held, and enjoys both playtime and quiet cuddles. He’s an explorer at heart—if you’ve got a catio or a cozy space where he can bird-watch and feel the breeze, he’d be over the moon. 🌿

Sunny is FIV positive and FeLV negative, but don’t let that worry you—he’s a healthy, happy guy. He gets along well with most female cats and is ready to bring sunshine into a forever home of his own.

Nemo is a handsome nine-year-old tabby-and-white gentleman who’s been through a lot—and still has nothing but love to give.

Adopted as a kitten, poor Nemo tragically lost his . He’s been back at the rescue for several years now, patiently waiting for someone to give him the real forever home he’s always deserved.

Despite his rough start, Nemo is friendly, gentle, and sweet as can be. He’s one of the cats in the care of an elderly rescuer who recently suffered a serious fall, breaking her hip and wrist. With limited help and a challenging setup, it’s time for Nemo to finally move on to a home where he can soak up all the love—and sunbeams—he’s missed out on.

Nemo’s not flashy. He’s not dramatic. He’s just a good cat who wants a warm spot, a kind human, and maybe a few treats for old times’ sake.

Roy isn’t just a cat—he’s a lifestyle. This 5-6 year old tabby with fancy white toes is deeply committed to his calling: loving humans, all day, every day.

Brandy came to our friends Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue under-socialized (happens to the best of us, TBH). She spent some time in a fabulous foster home, where she learned so much, and we learned so much about her! For example, Brandy is smart and eager to please her people. She's discovered the joy of getting so many treats for doing what her people ask -- Brandy is very treat-motivated. Her favorite things to do are play with her toys, go for walks, snuggle on your lap, and be told she’s a good girl. Aww, of course she is!

If her darling face isn’t enough to make you smile, wait until you see her unmatched “wiggle-butt welcome home dance"! She is house trained and crate trained – though she’s great around the house and doesn’t need to be crated when you’re away, once she's settled into your routine. She’ll be a lap dog, a strolling dog, and a constant, scruffy companion.

We wouldn’t be surprised if it takes Brandy some time to get accustomed to her new people. If you stock up on both treats and patience, we have no doubt she’ll settle into your home as happily as she did in her foster home.

Brandy needs an adult-only, quiet home with patient people who will take her on leash walks. We aren't sure yet whether she is good with cats or other dogs.

Moe is an orange-and-white sweetheart with eight years of charm under his belt—and a whole lot of love to give.

Back in 2017, Moe was trapped in a church parking lot and taken in by the kind cat rescuer he’s been with ever since. He’s been safe and loved—but now, due to her recent injury (a serious fall that left her with a broken hip and wrist), it’s time for Moe to find a forever home of his own.

Moe adores people. He’s all about pets, attention, and being near his favorite humans. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or just sitting around doing nothing in particular, Moe’s the kind of cat who’ll be right there with you, purring like a little motorboat.

Introducing Poppi, a young sweetheart of a kitty found on the street and believed to have been abandoned by her owner. There's a lot of that going on these days, and it breaks our hearts. We'll keep focusing on finding them new homes, better lives. Poppi deserves that.

She's a chill kind of gal, as you can see in her photo. She enjoys being petted and is good with other cats. We aren't yet sure how she is with dogs and kids. But we do know that Poppi is going to be a wonderful companion for some lucky adopter.

Meet Echo — the little gray shadow who’s learning that people can be pretty great after all. 🐾

This wily 8-week-old kitten showed up at the Sanctuary one day and decided he’d stick around… but only on his own terms. For quite a while, he darted away from every attempt to catch him, his big green eyes watching us from a safe distance. Slowly but surely, though, Echo has decided that maybe being part of a family isn’t so bad.

With his soft, medium-length gray fur and those striking eyes, Echo is as handsome as he is clever. He’s still working on trusting humans completely, but every day he gets braver, and he’ll soon be ready for a home where patience and love will help him blossom into the confident, affectionate cat we know he can be.

Seven years.

That’s how long Wednesday has been waiting. Waiting for someone to see her, to love her, to give her the home she’s only known in her dreams.

She had a family once — for two whole years — but life changed, and she found herself here. She’s spent nearly her entire life at the shelter. She’s a little picky about her dog friends, but her people? She loves them with her whole heart.

Now she’s a senior. She’s given us her best years, and we want so badly for her golden years to be filled with soft couches, gentle hands, and the comfort of belonging.

Wednesday has been homeless for 7 years! She's our friend from Beagles and More. She grew up here after having a family who loved her for 2 years. She was undersocialized and ended up in the shelter due to restrictions on the number of pets you can have. :( She likes some dogs but not all.

Why has no one been interested in her? She's a senior now... let's help her spend her golden years in a home!

We have too many dogs for our current care team to manage. Many places were closed, and we had to absorb the dogs we had been training.

For over six years, Wednesday has been waiting.
Waiting for someone to see her not just as “a dog at the rescue,” but as their dog.

She came to The Pet Connection timid and unsure, but with time, patience, and kindness, she’s shown her sweet, loving heart. Wednesday’s favorite thing in the world is to curl up under blankets, snug and safe, with her person nearby. She’ll make you laugh when she pops out for silly zoomies, and she’ll make you feel loved with her warm, gummy kisses.

Storms still scare her, but she faces them with the bravery of a little weather warrior, barking at the sky as if to keep her people safe. She’s shy at first, but once you earn her trust, Wednesday will be your shadow, your comfort, and your joy.

She has spent more than half her life waiting for her chance. She doesn’t need much — just a safe, loving home, patience, and the promise that this time, she’s finally home for good.
