Oh, sweet Bubba! He is such a handsome caramel and black Rottweiler mix of about 8.5 years and 55 pounds who came to us through Saving Death Row Dogs in Topeka, Kansas. He's an amazing boy who deserves an equally amazing home.

Bubba adores children! His perfect day is being with his humans, running in the grass, and lounging with his toys. Bubba loves playing on the couch and rearranging the covers, too. And giving his human friends kisses!

He's been around cats and does fine. Because they are scary to him, though, Bubba will not do well with other dogs in his home.

If you foster him, all of his expenses will be paid. Bubba's adoption fee is also being paid by a friend. We're happy to transport Bubba from Beloit, Kansas, to his new home if needed. 💕

Meet Arizona, our friend from City of Raytown Animal Services! She's 60lbs of laughter and love! This girl is around two years old and loves attention, belly rubs, and walks. She gets along with other dogs, people of all ages, but has not been cat tested. Everyone who meets her falls in love, so come meet her today!

Harper is the sweetest girl. She's our friend from City of Raytown Animal Services.

Harper's a three- to four-year-old beautiful lilac brindle pittie mix. She’s shy and would benefit from being in a home with a more confident dog to show her the ropes. She is very trusting and loves to always be next to a person. She has not been cat tested, but she is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, and her adoption fee has been sponsored!

Meet Tennessee, also known as Twister Tenn, our friend with City of Raytown Animal Services! This sweet guy was found during the tornado warnings earlier in the month with his collar tangled in a fence and covered in ticks! When we say he is the BEST boy, we mean the BEST! This playful guy happily sat and lay down for all sorts of belly rubs while the staff at Laurel Pet Resort worked on removing over 100 ticks!

He's now neutered, on flea/tick meds, and ready for his next adventure! He does well with other dogs and all the people he has met. We don't know how he is with cats.

URGENT! Hutch desperately needs a home as he's starting to show signs of kennel stress.

Meet Hutch, our friend from City of Raytown Animal Services! He is an adorable shepherd/husky mix puppy, around 9 months old. He loves everyone he meets and gets along with other dogs, too! He loves to run and play, and is such a smart boy -- he's learning to walk nicely on leash and to greet new people like a proper gentleman.

Hutch would love an adult-only home or one with older kids. He's a pretty energetic pooch, so he might just bowl those little kids right over. Hutch is a little too interested in cats, so a feline-free home would be best.

Hutch is ready to go home -- he's neutered, fully vaccinated, his adoption fee has been sponsored, and his doggy bags are packed!

Harper! Look at that sad little face. She's fairly new with our friend, City of Raytown Animal Services, so they're still learning about her, but she did stay with an overnight foster who gave some great info about this little nugget. For example, Harper was very loving and curious about the other pets in the home. In the boarding facility, Harper is relaxed and doesn't mind other dogs while she's outside her kennel.

Olive loves attention, treats, and hugs you while staring deep into your eyes, wanting you to know she loves you, even though you just met! Meet Greta, our friend with City of Raytown Animal Services! She is ALL ears and will be perfect in almost any home! She is an adorable 4-month-old bully mix with ears for days! Where will they end up? Nobody knows! She is sweet and loving, likes other dogs and humans of all sizes, and can easily be trained to live in a home with cats since she's still a baby!

Houston's a beefcake, a four-year-old, boxer-mix, 75+-pound beefcake. Look at his profile. Check out that water pose.

This boy is smart, too! He already knows sit, down, stay, high five, and wait. Learning tricks is one of his favorite activities. The other is running outside and playing in water from the hose. But his favorite game of all is tug of war. (He'll even let you win sometimes, because Houston's generous that way.)

Houston would love a forever home where he could hang out with his human, not doing anything in particular, just a couple pals spending time together. Wouldn't that be amazing? He's a little shy at first, but if you'll give him a few minutes to get to know you, Houston will be your best snuggle pup. Houston LOVES to snuggle and sit in your lap.

As a bonus, Houston is already housetrained and kennel trained. In fact, he does some of his best snoozing in his crate while he waits patiently for you to come home. And when you do come home, whether you were gone five minutes or five hours, you'll get to see his cute little nub of a tail wag and wag because he's so darned happy to see you, and that will make YOU happy, too!

Kids frighten Houston, so he needs a home without little ones, please. He very much wants to be the apple of your eye, so we want to find him a home where he can be the only pet. He'd also do best with a fenced yard.

Foster home needed ASAP! Please share!

Meet Dakota (formerly known as Mabel), our friend with City of Raytown Animal Services. She's a happy and playful four- to six-month-old lab mix puppy with lots of love to give!

Dakota was adopted about a month ago by a great family. They love her to pieces and we've learned how amazing Dakota is in a home. We've also learned, however, that Dakota would do best in a home without cats or small dogs, which means Dakota's looking for a new place to hang her leash. This makes us super sad, but we know the right family is out there for her.

Here's the good news: Dakota is a gem of a puppy. She's cuddly and sweet and wants to be with her people. If you're agreeable, she'll sleep in bed with you, but a big fluffy dog bed is also an option. In the evenings, Dakota will happily join you on the couch to help you read a book or catch a movie.

If you're not in the mood for a cuddle, Dakota is happy to hang out on the floor and play with her many toys because Dakota LOVES toys; she can entertain herself for a good long time with them. Outside, she runs and plays and ... frolics! She's the cutest puppy on the planet.

Medium and large dogs might be a good match for Dakota after a proper introduction. (The Pet Connection is here to help you with that!)

Junebug needs your help. She's losing her foster home because her foster mama is moving out of state. The thing is, Junebug has been doing so great in a home and we know that she will continue to thrive in a new foster or adoptive home. Please help us find her a new place to land.

At three years old, Junebug has been homeless almost her entire life. Junebug's original owners didn't give her much reason to trust people. They chained her in a muddy backyard without food and beat her regularly. She was only six months old, a baby, when she was rescued from that awful life.

She was bounced around quite a bit after that, but Junebug is a survivor and she is resilient and she is so smart. While it understandably takes some time for Junebug to warm up to new people, and she will need an adult-only home with folks willing to be patient with her, your patience will be rewarded ten-fold. Because once Junebug loves you, she’ll be by your side through it all. “Junebug makes you feel special,” one of her favorite volunteers once said.

In her foster home, Junebug has proven to be a perfect house guest. She is such a chill girl and just wants to be close to her people and snacks. But show her some snow and she’ll show you her amazing zoomie skills. Junebug is also a total goofball – take a look at her attempts to … sit on the couch. A truly low-maintenance gal with great comedic timing.
