We have decided to CANCEL the December 7th show in light of the recent EHV-1 outbreak. While we know there are no known cases in Massachusetts right now, we also know it is our responsibility to do our part in ensuring we all take this seriously and do the best we can for our equines which means shutting down for a bit! If we all do our part NOW we can preserve our real seasons come spring and summer!

OPEN RESULTS!! 34 horses in the open, amazing!
Please Note: speed barrel and Texas barrel has 1.5 second splits with a 2 second split between the 4D and 5D!!
📣HAIRPIN will have a 1 second split with 2 seconds between 4D and 5D !!
This is because hairpin is such a short/quick event that almost every single competitor would be in the 1D and 2D which helps no one for points in their division. Our goal is to keep the most even spread possible for POINTS sake!
These splits will remain the SAME throughout the entire winter series! At the end of the series we will ask for feedback on how this was for collecting points/awards! We are constantly trying to tweak and improve our club, we are VERY hopeful that this will be a great solution to keep everyone accruing points in their most consistent division!

THANK YOU to everyone that came out yesterday for our first winter series show of the season!!
We have 42 entries between open and Walk/Trot/Learning to Canter PLUS our jackpot!

I am starting with posting the WT(L)C class first and will make the open a second post to keep it organized and less visually overwhelming!
As we iron out some of the details for the new season I am happy to share that for our WT(L)C we had the best outcome using a 5 second split between divisions! This gave our learning rider/horse pairs a very fair opportunity to pick up points for the season! We will be using 5 SECOND splits for the whole winter series for THIS division!

🏆We WILL be awarding buckles at the end of the series to the Walk/Trot/Learning to Canter division as well!! 🏆

Just a couple more days until our first winter series show!! Please note we had made some adjustments to the 5D format, there will be 1.5 second splits between divisions and 2 seconds between the 4D and 5D. We are doing this to try to spread everyone out a bit and see how it goes so please give us your feedback and let us know how it goes!
We will also be doing a walk/trot/learning to canter division! Once a horse/rider are really cantering the pattern, they will move to the open division with the rest of the competitors. This is not limited to leadline but does also include leadliners!

We decided to do SIX places in the 5D because it was such a big division!! We are so excited for everyone this season and grateful for another great season!
We are already brainstorming ideas to make next year even better and tweaking the format a little bit! Stay tuned!
In the meantime we have an MRR Meeting Tuesday 11/11 at 6pm!!!
We will be in touch to coordinate this years AWARDS🥇🥈🥉 and will share banquet info when we have it!
